September 8, 201015 yr And where were your sliders before using this, all maxed out or? Hi,Checked second time, and I report that all sliders remained as it was without it (All at the right). The only think that changed was the water for high2x to mid2x. Nothing else.Seems that I am out of extra trial in demo as it was only for two times.Maybe someone else can report extra thinks.
September 8, 201015 yr Why spend so much money on an OS upgrade when this software gave you 9 more fps? :(Hi,Because I have already ordered and paid for my new pc with core i7 and win7. I am recieving it beggining of next week:Drooling:
September 8, 201015 yr Commercial Member Hi,I just read this thread and went to the url of the manufacturer. There is a demo for download. I tried it out at kjfk and my frames was increased from max 19 to 28 and it was the first time that was very stable without jumping up and down. Then I closed fsx and fsps program and started again fsx to test with this program. I went at kjfk and my frames was start jumping again from 12 to 19.I am currently using xp32 but next week I will upgrade to win7. So, I will test it again and I will report at this thread my persinal results.Like clockwork, FSX can foil any attempt to tame its performance. Its pretty funny. Some of the best planes were quirky. September 8, 201015 yr Commercial Member When I opened up my FSX cfg file, it was blank, you can't read it.Mine was as well. Good thing I decided to back it up before trying this. Even with my unstable performance as is (I'm sure some of you have read my other FSX journal thread), this only seemed to make it worse.I'm curious to compare what slider settings it sets for people. This also indeed knock my resolution way down. For its price, at least for me, its a definite pass. Think I'll buy FT's Buffalo instead ;) Kyle Weber (Private Pilot, ASEL; Flight Test Engineer)Check out my repaints and downloads, all right here on AVSIM
September 9, 201015 yr I tried it. It changes your FSX.cfg file. It was a mess. Kind of funny to be serious. Good thing is that if you exit the program, it appears that the original cfg file returns. Bob G.I also tried it on my XP SP3 FSX SP2 and I confirm it was a mess. the fsx.cfg file is changing without respect of the contents. I am lucky I made daily backups ... Did let FSX to read fsx.cfg in some cases and forced fsx to create new fsx.cfg with low settings - SolvedA demo version is available for testing before buying for everyone. If FSX Booster fits well at his PC system, then it is up to him to deside to buy it or not.The correct order of execution is:Run FSX BoosterRun FSXClose FSXClose FSX BoosterWhen FSX Booster closes, it returns all your previous settings. With best regards,FSPS Support Team When I opened up my FSX cfg file, it was blank, you can't read it.Hi,This is not a bug. If you open in explorer the folder where fsx.cfg is while you run booster, then you block the access and fsx.cfg will be blank.Regards,FSPS support team
September 9, 201015 yr This is not a bug. If you open in explorer the folder where fsx.cfg is while you run booster, then you block the access and fsx.cfg will be blank.Of course it can't be, or else what's to stop anyone copying and pasting its contents to a temporary .cfg file whilst the program's running then copying this file back to their original fsx.cfg when the program stops. Thus, getting the benefits of the changes for free.Should you want to though is another thing...

September 9, 201015 yr Commercial Member My fsx.cfg was blank after I stopped booster, rebooted my computer, uninstalled it, and rebooted my computer again (hoping it would come back). Why are you so curius to see what is inside fsx.cfg? You block the access and the file remais empty. In other words you destoy it by yourself.Just run booster and then fsx.More simple can not be done.
September 9, 201015 yr If I were you I would ditch FSX Booster. To get your CFG back delete your current cfg the relaunch FSX and it should make a clean fresh CFG. I seriously doubt that FSX booster can do anything over a PROPERLY setup system/OS along with properly tuning FSX to your hardware.Jim Jim Wenham

September 10, 201015 yr I have spent so much time getting my system perfect for me that the ONLY way I will even think about trying it is if I start to see some of the seasoned veterans around here (not a newbie with 3 posts) see a benefit to it. Anybody want to buy a bridge? :( Jim Wenham
