October 8, 201015 yr Where is your home page and a link to the demo download? - Dean P3Dv4 & XP11 space
October 8, 201015 yr Hi,A review from flightsim has been published. For anyone who would like to read it, the link is bellow.http://flightsim.com/main/review/fsxboost.htmRegards,FSPS TeamWell, I was one of the first to try your trial version. And it did mess up my FSX but I was able to restore it no problem. I have tried to install your latest version but requires me to pay for it. I did email your support email a month ago and never heard back from them. My question is if I wanted to use the trial version since you have claimed that it now works fine, how would I do that?Bob G. October 8, 201015 yr Commercial Member Well,The main installer is and works for 1 dayhttp://www.737ng.gr/...oster_Setup.msiPeople who previous installed but have problems running it and wish to test it again, then they must use the main installer and download from http://www.737ng.gr/1350.zip unzip the file and place it inside the fsx booster folder. This will give extra 1 day of trial mode. And for people who do not read manuals, we copy here the most important thinks. The menu Fly Now – Execution of FSXRecommendations – Recommends the optimal FSX Booster settingsPC Info – Information’s about pc for the tweaks calculationsCheck for update – You can check for new versionsAbout – Information’s about version number, forum access and etc.Settings• HT CPU Enabled• Stability• HD Textures• Calculate Traffic• Calculate Water• Shader version 3• Fibers Only at First Core• Rebuild Shaders• Rebuild Simobjects• Lite Autogen• Max Lod RadiusExit – Shutdown FSX Booster HT CPU EnabledIf your CPU is Hyper Thread technology and it is enabled, then you must check this item StabilityIf you experience visual problems inside FSX, then check Stability HD TexturesThis will enable FSX to read up to 4096 textures (For REX use) Calculate TrafficThis will calculate traffic for cars and boats sliders Calculate waterThis will calculate the water sliderShader Version 3For use of Botoje’s freeware Shaders 3.0 Fibers Only at First CoreFSX will use the first core only for fibers. October 8, 201015 yr So you put all known and well documented forum tweaks for FSX in one software and sell it to people at a high price? Impressive, I just don't know in which way.I'd say that reading bojote's conclusions alone will save a potential customer money (and develops knowledge) which will be better spend on e. g. an Avsim donation or another free usable organization. Those people (meaning especially forums users around) give their knowledge and time to others for free while some companies just .. (ask yourself).

October 8, 201015 yr Reading some more reviews about this software does not give me a picture of a problem solver for people needing weeks to e. g. read some of bojote's conclusion threads (which often summarize all settings in one post). Actually, it looks more like a strong believe is needed and intended here.As mentioned earlier, only advertising the somehow positive reviews establishes a strange picture of such products, at least not a very trustworthy one if the tenor tends to no usage or even problems. So instead of working some hours, days or even weeks to earn the money for it, reading might be a better idea as it is free too.By the way, when reading the mentioned posts, you can "check your hardware" be yourself because it won't be clever to raise all sliders (especially the known "heavy" ones) if you are going on some lower clocked dualcore.Difficult thing to think about? Well, go ahead and buy and hope for being one of those "many" people to eventually gain something. Whatever it might be.As you saw, I've applauded towards the trial option, so feel free to explore. Reports are welcome.
October 8, 201015 yr I tried it, nothing else worked including internal tweaks that we often find within the forums. And yes, it improved frame rates except to be totally candid, until you start adding other programs later, like Active X, frame rate intensive aircraft, like 767Pro, back to square one. I know this from years of Virtual Flying going back to the days of PC Jr., and before. The only way you can expect frame rates to be smooth: The PC is designed solely for that reason, only the latest FS offering, and the operating system, preferably XPro, or the newest, Win7. Add MegaScenery, latest pro-series aircraft, Active Sky, will still be good as long as its VF related only. Use the old PC for emailing, netting, texts processing, and the myriad of other unrelated FS programs that we need, Or, if you want the ultimate in smoothness, switch over to the real thing. How many of you have something like the picture below? Unless you own half of Wall Street, I cannot imagine this one to be that smooth. But money doled out in the right chucks, probably isn't too bad.
October 8, 201015 yr Well, you've just made your first post here.Imagine me smiling at the screen and hoping for some guys around to know why.
October 9, 201015 yr Well, you've just made your first post here.Imagine me smiling at the screen and hoping for some guys around to know why.Is it because you own FSPilotShop and the guy that bought the hardware has paid half your mortgage off? \Robert Hamlich/
October 9, 201015 yr Is it because you own FSPilotShop and the guy that bought the hardware has paid half your mortgage off?Getting closer but not there yet. :( At least, nice picture of some installation, isn't it?I have to admit, I found the post a bit confusing and the only sentence I'm somehow joking about is this typical "nothing else worked and this tool made it". Might be I'm just to doubtful towards such (first) posts after someone requested some user input instead of advertising words from the company itself. My bad then.I've seen some better viral marketing around, so they are surely improving skills then.

I think I know what you are alluding to but isn't it a little early? Paris does look nice though.Well out of curiosity I gave Booster a try, I run the FPS Limiter (FSX UPPER_FRAMERATE_LIMIT=0) and I flew in somewhat of a stutter with frames going from 17 to 55 FPS which is unacceptable to me. Give the user the ability to access an app like that and it may work out. At this point I do not see any benefit to using Booster. Edited October 9, 201015 yr by maxam66 \Robert Hamlich/

October 11, 201015 yr Agreed, the free one therefor lacks of some strange "this thing did it" tenor posts from relatively new forum members. The other one collects some work from Avsim forum members, might add some strange "calculations" and sells it to people that think that reading summarized threads takes weeks. The funny thing is, that you can read more praises about the free than on the expensive one and those praises seem more reliable too as the money making interest is lacking.I see both apps aiming towards more performance. One (the free thing) in a more general way while the other targets the hopes, wishes and money of FSX users only. So everybody is free to choose and test. I'm glad to have such opportunities.
October 11, 201015 yr Moderator Well for one, I think this pgm is a bunch of garbage, and possibly dangerous garbage. However, I can see where the developer had a good idea - take all the tweaks that abound in the forums, categorize them, analyze the system and apply as necessary. Great in theory - lost in application. The main problem is that no one yet can explain why the same tweak will work on one system and not work on an apparently identical system. Look at many of these tweaks closely. How were they derived? Mainly because someone took the time to hack the MS code for variables and start patiently experimenting by changing and watching the results. This might give a 'slight' understanding of what is going on but by no means a definitive "do step A and you WILL get result b'. The fact that under certain conditions certain tweaks could cause crashes and system corruption is also relevant.IMHO, even if FSPS Booster was free it would still not be a good idea.Just MHO,Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
