I had the system manuals for the 737-200 at one point during my college time. It will be nice to see if much is really different and get a better understanding of the aircraft...

Its a totally different plane, so I'd be surprised if even a single page is similar to the 200 manual

I see they added a new set of NGX manuals today. The 737-NGX Chief Pilots set, and with an updated picture! That one is going to be very tempting to break the bank for... With $120 dollars in savings I am wondering what the final price is going to be on that. Since orders do not ship on weekends or US holidays I say the earliest they would let the link go live is Monday. Since it is pointless for you to order it today or tomorrow since it won't ship till then anyway. :( That Chief Pilots package looks mighty tempting though. Once the price is up there will decide then between that and the Captains package. Says there is a bound set of Jeppesen charts for your "Type Ride." Which makes me wonder if PMDG is dabbling into the mission system and making some kind of type ride training. I know for the MD-11 we had the tutorial flights, but it would be cool if they took it to the next level on that. Was always a pain for me having to print out the charts and sift through loose paper (or the .pdf's) when doing tutorials. Plus you never get graded on it so it is up to you to determine how well/bad you did. (Sorry, let the imagination run wild a little there) :(

is the picture on the manuals the first external shot of the model?!

The pictures are nice but so small. Would it be possible to get the initial large picture just to get a really good look at what it will be ?

Definitely "Chief Pilot's Manual Set" will give more bang for the buck. What a great companion to this outstanding and FSX history making 737NG this set will be. I am soooOOOOO looking forward to this release. The manuals will keep me occupied until it comes.

They had the price listed yesterday for a very short time. I think I saw $259 (US Dollars) for the complete set. The price wasn't posted very long though. Maybe they decided to think about it some more.Ron Musick

Yeah, plus the posters are included. Just look at the product picture (that box...), looks like fun for quite a few hours guaranteed.

Sorry if this has already been asked/answered, but will this encyclopedia of knowledge include the differences between the -600/-700/-800/-900 versions?
