I noticed from the pictures of the 737NGX, that all the pictures are of the 737-8 or -9. I dont know if it has been announced yet, but is there going to be a 737-6 and -7? I would assume that there would be based off the name of the this package, and the old PMDG 737NG. If this information has not been released yet, please forgive me for asking.Thanks,

Come on, we do have previews. Definitely not on a daily or weekly basis, but what do you expect ?1 screenshot a week ? How would it be better than what we have now ?10 screenshot a week ? We pretty much saw all the aircraft !Videos ? I guess it's hard to make videos when the product is not finished yet. Everybody will start saying "this message should appear on the ND when doing this", "this switch is on but the light is not", etc etc...We do have pretty regular updates, just enough to tell us it's progressing and to make us eager to have it. Then it's our "job" to indivudally manage this eagerness... certainly not PMDG's.

Come on guys, we are 98% of readers staying quiet and/or on topic. I'm sure we would not like to see this topic locked due to the 2% of trolls or "when will it be out" / "we need screenies" posters...Get a life if you really can't stand waiting, or refrain from posting things that will surely annoy everyone. We are here to share our passion / hobby, and we all know this software is highly awaited, but puting oil on fire will not give anything except bad things.As we say in french: "tout vient à point à qui sait attendre." Finding the english translation will keep you away from the flamewars here at least for 5 minutes :(

Maybe there is a way to get a bit on topic again. Got a more or less technical or painting question, which might sound a bit strange to other users :( . What special options do we have regarding repaints?

1. How can we 'close' the cabin windows, is that done through the alpha layer of the texture? A certain Airbus developer team did it this way. Or isn't this possible at all? I doubt this is done via an option in the FMC.
2. What registration options are offered? I have already seen the one above the cockpit windows. Can this be achieved the same way as you guys did it with the MD-11. Did you guys add something new?
3. How is the belly textured? Or to be more clear - is text on the belly done via another layer and alpha - like the registration? Or is it a totally new texture and similar to the fuselage textures?

I hope that questions goes fine with the PMDG team. The external looks so amazingly good that I am curious to know how a few things are achieved respectuively are offered?Kind regards,Christian Mohr

EditBrowsing the web for something else I came along those as well. They are a great reference of how the real HUGS looks like, although they were 'only' taken inside a sim, but oh well the sys is the same, so go ahead and enjoy. Hope the devs will adjust their font a little bit to resemble the real thing even more before release. Then again we've only seen WIP shots so far, so I'll be patient. Oh and take note of the CDU options in #1 and #3, looks interesting. Pic #1, pic #2, pic #3, pic #4. Happy landing. There is no annoucement from PMDG confirming any of the variants. I'm 99.999(...)% sure that the -600, -700, -800, -900 variants will be included. The only doubts that we have here are regarding the -700ER, -700C and -900ER. The BBJ has a *possibility* of getting it's own model and having the 3 (maybe 4) variants (BBJ1 (737-700), BBJ2 (737-800), BBJ3 (737-900ER) and, if we get the 737-700C, the BBJ version of this variant) released as an expansion pack. *Always keeping in mind that it is a possibility*. PMDG already confirmed that military variants will not be included. We don't know if PMDG will release the -600 and -700 first and then the -800 and -900, like they did with the 737NG for FS9, which variants will be included and how much will it cost. PMDG is internally discussing this and others commercial issues.I think that's all we have so far.PS.: For those (new) users expecting updates, I'd like you to know that:

They don't show pictures by request. They will only show us screenshots of the plane when the feature in question is ready to be shown. They will update us with pictures as soon as things get ready.

Several posts up, there is a suggestion to make these preview posts read only - it is a GREAT suggestion.

Hey RyanWill there be some kind of hour meter on the NGX. That u can see how many hours u have flown and how many hours the engines have been running etc, in different configurations.I have flown the lvd767 for many years and it would be nice if i could go into a page into the fmc and see how many hours i have flown this airplane , as well it would be cool if u could repaint a certain configuration and keep the hours that were flown on that airframe. Almost like a different carrier leased the airplane that u have been flying or if u want to change VA but not planes. Just something that i thought would be neat and give it a different touch.Thanks,William Coade
