Featured Replies

I'm looking to fight in some modern day aircraft, jets and such, is there a sim out there. I need a break from my CTD with the JS41!Thanks

Ron, Run don't walk. Had it since first beta...http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/Great fun!!Glen

lmgtfy is a decent site but what's the point of these forums if you just tell someone to google everytime... :( Anyway, decent combat sims. DCS A-10 is a paid beta I think - apparently very realistic and fun to learn systems:http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/index.php?end_pos=2452Falcon 4 Allied Force is an update of Falcon 4.0 - not sure if it still works on Win7/Vista etchttp://www.lead-pursuit.com/news.htmLock On 1 and 2 are always decent. I personally have Lomac1, and despite its bugs it's a decent game. Graphics are a bit out of date but the game was probably released in 2005 or something. I haven't played LoMac2:http://lockon.co.uk/flaming_cliffs_2/DCS also did the KA50 helicopter sim... modern enough I suppose - I believe they are doing a Longbow sim eventually:http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/index.php?end_pos=950&scr=default〈=enThat's all I can think of.

+1 DCS A-10C. Just went from beta to full release. It is excellent... Excellent. I'm an airliner guy but this sim is just amazing.Only thing is, I find it unplayable without TrackIr. I can scoot by flying around FSX or FS9 without it, but the DCS series is really enhanced with it!
