- Why is there an A320 in LAN livery on the FB photos page?

sucking up to PMDG won't get it released any faster either

Guys,Robert has had a stomach flu for the last half of this week - he has a 4 year old daughter who brings these "gifts" for him home from preschool. We were planning an update for this weekend (we were going to try tonight even), but it's going to take a bit longer because he's still sick. If you don't believe me and really want to think we're purposefully saying we're going to have an update for you and then going back on it then I'm not sure what to say. We've posted FAR more updates on this airplane than we have for any past product already. There's something like 50+ screenshots between the threads we've had here and our Facebook page.

Yay! Ryan. I'm glad someone on this forum (and at PMDG) has a 'Life' other than flightsim! Please tell Rob from me (at least) to spend as MUCH time with his Daughter as possible... my daughter is a cute 6 and they grow up SOOOooo fast... its mind boggling...(she itches to fly my flightsime too!) Flt sims can wait - the work will still be there next Monday. Have to admit I fly my flightsime a darn site less now than I used to... Christ :( knows when i'll be able to fly it the way I wish! Without the missus nagging me to get off..:( I for one am appreciative of the fact that a new plane is coming. End-of-story. Don't really care exactly when. I'm in agreement with some others... don't worry about the update... this forum is here for you guys to answer questions we have and for us Simmers to discuss aspects of the plane. While I'm here, I'd just like to ask one question - can anyone please let me know if all the manuals that are for sale, will actually come with the plane in digital format that we can print out if requried? upon purchase? I suspect I'm going to need a lot of tutorials on how to fly it. I've dabbled with prevous 737's, 777 and 747's you guys have produced in the past and learned heaps... but I figure this ones a 'little' more complex? :( Also... my preference for a new a/c to start on would be the Dash 8 or C17. But Please, get the engined sounds right - the booming unsynchronized sounds of the Pratt-'n Whitney's at various phases of flight on Dash 8's are something worth capturing.Thanks heaps for the updates...Regards,David StewartPerth, W.A.

+1 (with full regard that I may be or am "sucking up" :( )C-17 is on my wishlist. :(

Where did all of this C-17 stuff come from all of a sudden?Did I miss something? :(

I'd love to see a PMDG C-17. The Alphasim one is the best payware one out at this time, but very light on systems, etc. If PMDG did one, it'd be awesome!

While I agree the C-17 is a very cool airplane (I watched an awesome demo by one at the Reno Air Races two years ago), I really don't think it's something that would sell enough copies to warrant the type of in depth development we do here... People want airliners.

Any plans to do any work with Airbus in the future, Ryan? Leaving everyone's personal thoughts/opinions on the A380 aside (i.e. it's beautiful or it's ugly or it's a death trap, etc), if it were simulated to the degree that only PMDG is capable of, I'm confident it'd be the most awesome and highest selling product on te FS market without a doubt.

I prefer have a new Boeing after the NGX than an Airbus :(

Ryan, I've some questions about the GTX 570 GPU's. I don't want to start off a whole new topic for it, but:- eVGA GTX570- eVGA GTX570HD- eVGA GTX570SCThe SC is abit overclocked but really that much that it is it worth to spend more money? What are the differecnes between the 570 itself and the 570HD? Higher definitions?

Matthew-I believe PMDG said before that they cannot do an Airbus due to their contract with Boeing. The FSLabs should be a nice A320 though! :)

Some other developer is making a payware A380 for FS9 and FSX. I just can't remember their name or website address. From what I did see, it looked fantastic.

They never said that. Stop assuming stuff. I am guessing they are not doing an airbus since there is over 9000 airbus' on the market for flight sim now.
