Any big payware releases for FS9?

Featured Replies

Good god can any of you who are replying actually read?! Utterly incorrigible it seems. Let's just break this down into bite sized chunks so maybe you can get your heads around it shall we...1) There is NO argument about a release being extremely unlikely. I agree with all of you, it's almost certain not to happen. However at no point have I tried to imply or discuss otherwise and this isn't what the argument is about at all. This is something that some of you have since created by not reading the posts properly!2) I merely stated that the OFFICIAL word from PMDG is still one of there being no firm decision on the fate of an fs9 NGX. This is still fact despite several of you who seem to know better than PMDG themselves. Again, see the pinned post that I have linked to.3) I have been told by two members that the above point is incorrect and that Robert Randazzo has made an official announcement to the contrary. They are unable to substantiate their claims. I have defended and proven mine.I'll refer you to the original statement I made that started all of this nonsense-That is all I said. No discussion one the mechanics of their decision and my feelings towards it, simply that the official stance of PMDG is one of being undecided. That is fact and nobody but PMDG can alter that.It blows my mind how allegedly intelligent simmers can completely warp the topic at hand and go on the offensive like this. The arrogance blows my mind. Try actually reading what has been said in posts before loading up your keyboards and pointing them in my direction please.
i do suggest running a forum search on that as i do remember them clearing the air on that exact same debate on their forums and in a couple of others (i think one of them was on the iFly737 vs PMDG 737 esque threads)...it was around the same time as the airsimmer debacle/drama from what i remember

Clum, as you quoted from the PMDG forums, they haven´t decided whether they will make it for FS9 but I think they have inoffically decided to do it only for FSX. Why do you want another 737 for FS9? Isn´t the IFly good enough? And if you say that I don´t have any arguments for the PMDG and the FS9 developement, you are wrong. I gave you lots of arguments about this topic. FSX looks better and gives the developer much more opportunities in developenemt and the investment would be to high and to less profit. They don´t develope planes for about 1 million dollar when their sales will be only the half or less. Economically it doesn´t make sens to support and develope such an time and money consuming addon like the 737 for an 8 year old sim. And the current hardware is that capable of playing FSX, so in one or two years hardly nobody will play FS9. That´s it and you have to live with it. Time´s changing.

Best regards, Steffen

GuysAny chance that you can stop your petty scabbing as to whether PMDG do or do not release a new 737 for FS9 as it's all getting rather tiresome ???As far as I'm concerned, the iFly 737NG is a fantastic aircraft and a worthy addition to anyone's virtual FS9 hanger. With an aircraft of this quality (and superb customer support) why does it matter anyway?Personally, I'd like to get this topic back on track so that we can actually get some answers to the OP's original question...RegardsGary

There is not a face, nor a palm big enough for this one. :(

Clum like I mentioned above just ask PMDG and they'll confirm what we all have been saying. From there you can argue with them about their clarity... :(

Talking%20Ear%20Off.gifI'm not going to waste PMDGs time asking a question that is already answered on the front page of their forum. This is getting beyond a joke. If you're able to provide some proof to that effect Dillion, then lets hear it. Strange though that not one of you guys telling me I'm wrong can come up with any huh? Just take a minute to actually think about what's happened here guys, and maybe don't be so quick to jump on someone's back next time for making what is in fact, an entirely accurate statement...nothing else.

Hi :( The Azores packages will be released for both FS9 & FSX, as we usually do.My best regards,Carlos Pereira.www.tropicalsim.com

While I agree (see my original statement), it's not really the point. The two guys are saying that RR has stated at some stage that there is 100% no chance of an fs9 NG. This is not true as far as I know, unless they can back up the claims.
That is the point. That's precisely the point. Go and ask if the NGX is being developed for FS9. Also go and look how old that announcement is. Let's grow up.Anyway. FS9 may have several more decent releases for it, but I would be saving my money for a rig to run FSX. LOL.gif Had to say it! Flame away.

What's the relevance of how old it is? The information is still valid. Further PMDG update, unpin and modify their stickys regularly (just last week in fact) so would have removed that one as well if it weren't still true. What I said was 100% factual, like it or not. YOU chose to dissect it and cause an argument not me. Learn to man up and admit that you made a false claim, got your wires crossed; whatever, rather than continuing to idly argue about something completely different than the original matter. Anyway I'm sick of this pathetic rubbish and have let it get me far too annoyed trying to defend actions that don't even need defending. Anyone with half a brain can see that I'm right here.....it's all in black and white unlike your claims which are in your head.Done with this.
