Is there consensus on what the 'other two' in dev are?

Here's the blurb from the PMDG Dev schedule: SourceAt PMDG we tend to be a bit cagey about the products we have in development. We do have some long term projects that have been published as "under development" and these are as follows:1. PMDG 737NGX: The lastest generation of our popular 737 product line. This product will include all four body types of the 737 NG series, an incredibly detailed virtual cockpit, wide screen 2D panels, advanced lighting and animation, a Heads Up Display, and lots of other goodies that we'll unveil as they are completed.2. PMDG 777: This product is under very low rate development right now. We are currently coordinating some long lead items with Boeing, and collecting the industrial expertise required to build this aircraft properly. Our 737 development team will take over this project upon completion of the NGX, as the two airplanes have many software and system similarities that will allow for a very rapid wind-up to completion once the NGX has been released.3. PMDG DHC-8: The initial product in the PMDG Dash-8 series will include the -200/300 series airplanes. This product is being developed by the same team that produced our PMDG BAe JS4100, and will be along the same quality level. This product is expected to fit into the release schedule someplace between the 737NGX and the 777.As of now, we also have two products in development that we have not shared with you. Both will be unveiled when the time is right. Most of the talk has been about the above three (which I'm eagerly looking forward to as is everyone on here), however I can't remember if there was any conjecture re the 'two products in development'. I'm sincerely hoping its something like a properly done A320/A330/A380 but I'm assuming it'll include the B787.Any ideas? I don't mean to dredge up an old post if this has been discussed before.

I think that one of the secret projects is a complete remake of the 747x. Thats just from seeing what peiple have said on here over the months. For some weird reason, i think that the other secret project is a 767. Since omdg and level d are good friends...or so ive heard. I figured pmdg would have the honors of redoing level d's 767. However thats totally from out of thin air and there is nothing but propwash behind my theory.

Nahh, has never been discussed before. Personally I can't wait for the 777, I will probably purchase the NGX and Dash-8 after a while as well. The rest is pure conjecture at the moment but I would like to see the whole line of Airbus from A319-A380 done the PMDG way.

I agree with your first comment, a complete remake of the 747 and a full version of the 747-8, that would be amazing.

By the way they said that before the LCF even came out. I am wondering if the LCF is counting as one. I really hope for a livery manager.

- Its most likely the NOT an Airbus product. My logic is simple. they have already "shared' with us some time ago that they are planning an "Airbus Family".

I was thinking about that in my original post but forgot to add it. I'm with you one the 747/8 remake and yes PMDG & Level D are good friends so I see PMDG redoing the 767 as much as Level D would a 747, they aren't about stepping on each other's toes. I recall Tab's stating PMDG has not ruled out a remake of the 747.

oh i totally agree. Both companies wouldnt step on eachother's toes. I meant that level d would hand over the torch to pmdg lol. Since appearently they are working on the 757 they would be like...."since we know you guys do a breath taking job of making aircraft we knkw you will do our baby justice." Lol i personally just bought the 767 back in march for my birthday and i think its amazing....its showing its age graphically but systematically....at least i cant tell. Ignorwnce is bliss haha.

why would they remake the 767? the leveld product is excellent and doesn't need remaking. Besides, the 767s are old and getting replaced with A330s. I would dearly love for them to make a PROPER A320. Everything made to date is crap and I've tried most of them (Aerosoft, Wilco, etc). Ideally, it would be the B787 (when it comes into service), and/or A320/A330/A340/A380 range.

Just wow. You may want to let airlines like DL, UA, AA, AC, BA, etc.... know about that. Factless drivel.

Yeah, production of the 767s hasn't even stopped yet, has it?
It has not.http://www.boeing.co...l/products.htmlIn fact, they recently, in early Feb of this year, rolled out their 1,000th airframe for ANA. While Boeing is pretty concentrated with full on production of the 747-8I/F, 777, and the 787. The 767 isn't going anywhere anytime soon..........All though they recently moved production to a smaller facility, I think they will still be around for some time to come.Mind you the 747 has around 1,400 units produced......so the 767 is catching up. http://boeing.mediar...?s=43&item=1610http://www.boeing.co...milestones.htmlAll these sources come from Boeing.com

I am hoping and probably will be waiting a long time for a PMDG quality 787. A delivery of the production 787 to ANA and a simultaneous PMDG rollout would be amazing. I know its next to impossible to do that since it's still in test and Boeing is not giving much info out as far as that is concerned.Since Boeing owns 51% of PMDG this could happen!!! J/K :(

okay, I take it back. I'm only thinking of the Qantas 767s which ply the skies over aust...these are old birds and my understanding is that they're to be replaced in the future sometime. Either way, my point is, there's already an excellent 767 available and whilst I love PMDG products, I certainly wouldn't buy it if I have a perfectly good leveld copy available here. Similarly, the 747X (yes an upgrade from FS9) is still the best 747 on the market - why redo it? All I'm saying is that Airbus is now the largest a/c manufacturer (I read this on the web but am too lazy to find a source) or next to it, and we have seen that all the airbus a/c produced so far have been less than impressive. Surely, PMDG realise that and plan to take advantage of it.
