I use a CH Yoke, have had it for probably 5 years now, and LOVE it.

I have two now:Saitek Cyborg X (aka F.L.Y. 5 now) - simpler smaller stick that I've used for a while - I still tend to use this for FSX.Saitek X52 - I got this for DCS A-10C because you really can't fly it effectively without a HOTAS system. Modified a profile off the DCS forums and I can now speak fluent HOTAS (TMS up short, Coolie left long etc haha) after a few weeks of practice.

I have a Saitek Flight Yoke and a Saitek X52. The Yoke is really good, but there are a lot of known bugs and errors (Mine didn't work on my old PC).

I've got a Saitek Cyborg Evo and while it's not amazing, it gets the job done in FSX. I've thought about going to a yoke and throttle system multiple times in the past, but at heart I'm very lazy and I suspect I'd end up not wanting to attach it to my desk every time I wanted to fly. :(

CH yoke, throttle quadrant and pedals. Very happy with it.

I know what you mean, the way my desk is laid out requires me to velcro the yoke. It stays there 24/7 and is always ready to go. I'm not about to tear that thing off my desk each time I'm done flying.I say that if you're kinda lazy like me then just leave it there ready to go! By the way, I have the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke System and really like it. Sure it has it's quirks and could be improved but it still works well. I have FSUIPC for FSX (Required to be able to do this) and use that to program the reverse thrust to the throttle lever notch below idle. Also have speed brakes assigned to the Mixture lever (FSUIPC not needed for this). The yoke / levers / pedals plus TrackIR really add to the immersion.

Saitek yoke. Love it!I also have two saitek throttle quadrants. I have them together. I made custom throttle handles as well. The orientation is as follows:Propeller (only use on J41); Spoiler (the axis is reversed so that the spoiler deploys as you pull the lever down); Throttle 1; Throttle 2; Flaps (axis reversed); GearI frequently change the orientation and functions depending on the A/C and circumstances. One of the best things you can do for realism is get the ability to use differential thrust (throttle 1&2), as well as to have an axis assigned to spoiler so that you can achieve positions other than extend/retract.

I use a CH yoke and Saitek pedals. I think the next step for me would be buying TrackIR but I just can't bring myself to have to wear a headset or hat all of the time to use it.

Oh yea, I have the saitek pedals too! Absolute must! I can't imagine flying without pedals. I fly with pedals IRL (obviously) so I couldn't bear twisting a handle. I got the pedals probably 5 years ago, and I love them. Diferential breaking is something that I just don't know how I ever did without.BTW: I have used both Saitek and CH yoke and pedals. Saitek seems far superior in quality and realism. The CH feels and looks chintzy imho.

I can't believe nobody has mentioned the G940 from logitech. Takes some tweaking but works great once set up.

Saitek stuff here, which isn't bad. Sometimes use a Cyborg EVO stick with the pedals. On very rare occasions when traveling with a laptop I've actually used a joypad to fly choppers, since it is small to carry and is actually very good for controlling helicopters.Al
