with gas/brake pedals from my logitech g25 for now
I forgot to mention that, I do the same thing with my DFGT pedals. Works well enough I think.
I say that if you're kinda lazy like me then just leave it there ready to go!
My problem with that is I'm always using my desk for something. Whether it be school or other games, a yoke would get in the way and I'd end up just taking it off. I tried leaving my racing wheel hooked up, and that didn't last very long. Just got in my way and frustrated me more than taking it on and off does. ha

Saitek for sure. Just think, better quality, plus a separate throttle quad.

Saitek pedals and yoke system here. Can't fault either really the only issue I have is fitting the yoke to the desk; I have to remove the keyboard tray to clamp the yoke and then put the keyboard on top of the yoke base. Like I say, I can't fault the actual yoke itself but this issue is edging me towards replacing it with something a little more manageable.

Logitech G940 here, I will never waste more money for Logitech...

Having flown real C152 and C172's, I haven't found a consumer yoke that feels realistic yet. Guess you have to get into the much pricier ones.So I have the Saitek yoke and two throttle quadrants which is good enough for now. Built a little wood platform under my desk to mount the yoke in because it sat up way too high when clamped to the desktop. Wish someone would make a realistic variable force yoke based on the flight environment. A real-world yoke sure feels different in a stall versus high speed maneuvers. The consumer rudder pedals are all a joke to me. I've never flown or known an aircraft with nearly horizontal rudder pedals but I guess they're cheaper to make. I was fortunate to find a set of FlightLink hydraulic dampened pedals on eBay that are near vertical and behave much closer to the real thing. I love them!

Do you like it? Or was it a waste, I can't tell from your reply.

I still use one of those too. Best joystick I've ever used, apart from an A320 sidestick. :( :( The trouble is most PC joysticks are far too lightly loaded and that's probably why people think MSFS dynamics are too sensitive. Light forces are ideal for helicopter sims, but for aeroplanes you need a fair amount of spring force and some damping.Kevin

CH yoke, pedals and throttle quadrant. I am using FSUIPC to do a lot of custom button and axis mapping.

I also use one of these. Unfortunately it dropped on the floor after an occasion of foot tangling in the cord, so I've had to superglue it. Still works well though!Cheers,Rudy

I'm not old school, I'm just cheap. Logitech 3D Extreme Pro. It's six years old or so. w00t.#1 on my agenda is a new computer. #2 is a new yoke/stick. I recently bought a new car so a lot of my discretionary income has gone to making that faster.-john rodgers

Saitek Yoke, Throttle quadrant and rudder pedals. REALLY good products. I'm gonna buy another throttle quadrant this week also and soon maybe the Saitek X52 to use with the airbus or helicopters.
