May 25, 201115 yr No plan on purchasing this product until the developer "Flightbeam" provides the promised upgrade of Terminal 2 which actually opened on the 14th of April. I know within 2-3 weeks is OK but a month or two doesn’t fly in the "real" working world. Remember this is a "new" company without a track record and who's developer has a negitive view on his actual sales and continued FSX development work. I don't why developer are slowing on their projects (not everything can be out for the holidays) but I think this hobby is in a slow decline since no commitment or release date of MS "Flight" and X Plane 10 has been delayed. Hopefully the hobby will continue...DarrylPS...I know there are a lot of aviation fans around, I see them in growing numbers at LAX!
May 25, 201115 yr Really stunning! Breathtaking as every thime, Darryl. Do you use a special utility to get such viewpoints like in the 6th and 9th picture? Best regards, Steffen Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h
May 25, 201115 yr Moderator Nice shots Darryl. Without or without T2 it still way better than the default version or converting the FlyTampa FS9 version to work. Amir did a pretty good job on this airport an I hope that he doesn't mail it in after he finishes the FS9 version and the SP2, especially since he said KPHX was next. Do you use a special utility to get such viewpoints like in the 6th and 9th picture?Probably EZdok. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
May 26, 201115 yr Nice pics... I really enjoy UAL's old colors.I own the scenery, it's excellent. You can't fault them for not adding every new detail. I own a lot of the FSDT and FlyTampa sceneries and stuff gets out of date all the time. They can't release updates on schedule with the real world, they'd never get anything done. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

May 27, 201115 yr The flag on the right side of the aircraft is facing the wrong direction. Never understood how painters could miss that!

May 28, 201115 yr Looks like the American flag is pointed in the right direction on both sides to me as well.On an aircraft, or any moving vehicle for that matter, the standard is for the field ( That's the blue part ) facing in the forward moving direction. So on the left side, or on a stationary object, the field belongs on the left with the stripes pointing to the right, but on the right side of a moving vehicle, the field goes to the right with the stripes pointing left.As for the point way up top regarding Microsoft Flight, you should check out the May 2011 update, and the latest video. I think they might actually be up to something over there! :)http://www.microsoft.../games/flight/# Kerry W. I'll be the first to admit that I never noticed or knew that before. I just went over to airliners.net and pulled up some left and right side photos of the United planes and sure enough the flag on the right side is point the the wrong direct, which is actuall the right direction.I wonder how many paints I have on all my airliners where the flag is actually pointed the wrong way, not that it really matters, but I never noticed that before. May 29, 201115 yr The way to think of it is, if you are carrying it on a pole marching into battle, the flag should always flow into the wind. So, the blue would always be into the wind!! Image Coming... KregE | B757/767 FO
