I wouldn't believe the release dates that you see on gamestore websites. They generally pluck dates out of thin air, and then cross their fingers.

If this is true and personally, I would take this with a pinch of salt, The sim must be into Beta testing by now. Anyway, a nice juicy topic to get our teeth into.

Still sticking and rocking with FS9.

Inddeed, there isn't much else to discuss about Flight considering the lack of info we're recieving.I'm quite new here and I have read alot of interesting posts about Flight, lots of speculation some positive some negative. The upcoming sim is what 5/6 years ahead of FSX so it's almost certain that it will be a big success IMO and it will be much better than FSX. Just very desperate to hear some fresh news, I think the longer they're making us wait the better, the next set of screens/vids should be much better :)

IF this is true, the release of FLIGHT will be around the same time Xplane-10 will hit the market (if no more delay)...early bird get the worm... B) IF this is true, they are beta testing without telling us B) , beta testing with whom, 3rd party developpers in the loop....:( IF this is true, now does it make sense to you to see Flight under SLI compatiblity bits (DX10) in Nvidia Inspector...:( IF this is true....well.... never mind.....:(

You can find release dates for the PMDG FSX 737 if you look about on web stores; it doesn't mean they know the date, it's mostly just a speculative guess. That's not always true though, many of you will recall that one website famously blew the gaff on identifying PMDG's 'secret project' - i.e. their J-41 - by releasing embargoed information about it.Al

My my, how history repeats itself.Remember your history, folks - back prior to FSX's release, various gamer websites and sales sites all used "unannounced" estimates for release dates to go alongside the screenshots they scraped together off the Microsoft website. As time went on, they had to extend their dates forward and forward. Eventually, Microsoft actually announced a date for FSX, and most of the sites rushed to change their dates to the MS provided one. Do NOT put any stock in these dates. None. Zero. Zilch. They are not based on anything but a guess. You'll notice that by putting on the date, these websites have now driven more traffic to themselves. Hmm. Interesting strategy, eah? -Greg

In the minds of good people….An If becomes Possibility which becomes a Probability which becomes a Certainty…and we then see we vitriolic comments full of bewilderment and astonishment when Flight is not released in late 2011. Yes, ‘If’ can be a dangerous word. Frankly who cares when it released… not me!! Ps Did someone say November 2011? ‘ Lets just slip it in the diary..you never know’

So which one of you guys is going to be the first to pitch a tent in front of Tesco's? :( Would be futile though given the thing is supposed to be a digital download only...Which brings us to another point... if Flight is a digital download only, and therefore presumably only sold via the Windows Market place, why would 3rd party resellers even be advertising it?Cheers,

More to the point, if this were an accurate release date, then MSGS must be using folks from an alternate universe for beta testing......since not one person with whom I'm acquainted (which is to say, pretty much everyone) is involved... :(

ACES usually had ‘public’ betas. But maybe MSG doesn't roll that way...who knows ;)Testing is usually the domain of an in-house QA department. Also, any public testing could happen at the 11th hour.I’ve never put much credence in the 2012 dates...far too expensive to run the project that long - IMOThe only scenario I see for a 2012 release would be an extension.
