May 31, 201115 yr It's a Ku-band Satcom antenna, for internet and mobile phone connections. If you see a smaller, flatter antenna, that one will be an L-band antenna. The can either be fuselage or fin mounted, so they are sometimes difficult to spot on other aeroplanes, but most of them will have one somewhere on them these days.
