Donation Option

Featured Replies

Dear PMDG, I'm aware that your very busy at present, but when you get some spare time would you be able to apply a Donation option on the website, I for one would be very happy to donate some extra cash to help support your previous and future developments. Thank Stevie

Please don't take it the wrong way, but these guys are probably the most popular and most successful add on company for FSX and you want to donate extra cash? It's like asking Tom Cruise if you could donate to Mission: Impossible V.I think they're doing better than most people in the $$$ department.

A classy proposition, more than, OMG this is too much money please cut your prices!

Purchase more than you need and this is going to be your donation.

ROFLMAO I suppose so but; really? Come on now!
Relax, the man was just asking a question.
Purchase more than you need and this is going to be your donation.
Very good idea :)

I think that Steve just wants to show his appreciation to the team. He realises that one of PMDG's hardest decisions was pricing. Just think about it!The NGX has been a very long development cycle & we've heard about the hours they have put in recently. At $69 this is a give away. PMDG have had to market this at a price which is within the reach of those who have a smaller budget, that's a rare thing these days. Compare how much more you're getting with this product compared to previous releases & then compare the price difference? So please guys, show some respect to Steve. I don't imagine that PMDG would do this anyway but it's nice for them to know that some of us appreciate their work & for the sake of our hobby we hope that they will earn enough profit to continue developing in the future.

Absolutely. Like I said, nothing against the OP. He obviously LOVES anything and everything PMDG. But it's obvious they don't need donations and with their integrity intact, it's a guarantee they will not accept peoples donations anyway. Might I suggest, if people want to make donations, donate to AVSIM. I think it's safe to say RSR would have no objection to that. They might need the donations if the 744 is anything to go by. PMDG had to get a whole different server for forum support because AVSIM was crashing...purely from 744 posts.

Appreciation goes a long way, that's all i was trying to do. No offence but it's upsetting that people have to pick fault with a perfectly honest post.

Donations? Really man...they will make enough off the price of the base back and the 25 dollar addon packs that are coming later.....

It's the Flight Simulator community. If you make a post about anything someone will find a way to complain about it or to drag it down into a sewer, no matter how inoffensive the topic at hand. That's just how it is.

I thought we show appreciation by buying the product and being loyal to the brand. ie referring someone that's on the fence about purchasing the product. I own a BMW and so does just about everyone in my household, but does that mean i'm going to donate money to BMW ummm I think not. Albeit it a noble gesture by the OP, you can also find the logic in our response
