August 3, 201114 yr you will be disappointed .. no doubt the aircraft will be superior ... but you have hyped it up so much in your mind that no way its going to live up to your vision. You can say that about anything, but I really believe the NGX, for the flight sim enthusiasts and lovers of the 737NG, will be almost like owning a the real aircraft and I'm very excited about it.The greatest "hype" I've seen, is actually watching the NGX perform on Nick's/AoA videos. August 3, 201114 yr You are right.. he will be disappointed that his vision was limited, and that the PMDG 737NGX aircraft was beyond anything he was capable of imagining....Vin it's good to see you in the forums and all (it really is :D) but did you tie up Ryan and or Robert just to be the main PR person to get all of the attention? August 3, 201114 yr too funny .... we all will enjoy it .. but when the newness wears off in a week or so ... remember me and my words If you don't really like flight simulation, then I'm sure the "newness" will wear off, but for those of us who are hopelessly addicted to it ....well, it would be hard for you to understand.D Day in 24 hrs? where are my gears? Just went through the normal check list.. FSX Machine - Down, cleaned, and locked, Internet connection - Checked, bills paid, Credit card - Checked.. Back up Credit card - Checked, wife agreed to allow use of her credit card in case of emergency (on very strict condition that I don't go out to booze with folks to celebrate the release of NGX) F5 key - checked every 5 minutes And that's the end of check list! PMDG should have a big count-down timer on the forum. I would just sit and stare at it. Robert Yunque

August 3, 201114 yr Well I hope it gets also release on thursday, but remember that a few weeks ago PMDG said they will not do a surprise release, that they will put on their website 48 hours in advance the announcement and so far I haven't see anything in the NGX seccion. Probably tomorrow (wednesday) we will have a clear statement on the release date (which I hope is still thursday). Currently we are still working our "On or Before 04AUG11" release scenario. I want to make certain that it is clear however that at any time, we may decide to alter the release timeline slightly if required to correct any usability impact items that might appear during the next few days. If this happens, I will let you know as soon as I know! Barring anything strange happening, we will give you a bit of notice via the forum that release is pending, then off we go!
