August 4, 201114 yr That particular moderator's behaviour always seems to make things worse. Post in red letters, calling people names, acting very arbitrarily. Yet you have not done yourself any favours here either. You are right that this place can be very unfriendly, but that is because everyone here is watching this forum for one particular reason, and there have been a few people who have taken advantage of that and posted things that are absolutly unwarranted. In this case however, you deserve what you get. I am with Peter [insert last name her], don't come here to a flight sim forum and call people out for flying in FSX. August 4, 201114 yr Wow, can't believe my thread was locked... Whatever... I came back to this site after a rough start based on the feedback asking me to stay, and then my thread gets locked? Wow, I give up... The final poster said my thread was useless, and it was locked... Certainly my thread was innocuous, especially compared to others still active. I was just trying to share part of my day in real-world ops on the NG.... I truly had wanted to share my 1500+ hours thus far on the NG to those who were interested, but this forum keeps showing its ugly side. It is certainly not a very user friendly place! 737Guy KEWR You didn't actually share anything, you said you were at EWR for a quick turn. If you want to "share" your experiences with us, why not take some pictures of the plane and flight deck and post them, as we all enjoy seeing those. August 4, 201114 yr Yes, the original thread was in poor taste, yes the OP was wrong, yes the admin rightfully locked the thread, yes this second thread is just as pointless, and no, actually we're all equally tragic for flying make-believe planes. Do we really need to go on nipping at each other? Avid flightsimmer with a solo pilot endorsement, halfway toward my Private Pilot in the Diamond DA20 C-1 Eclipse.

If you stick around long enough you will eventually have some simmer telling you that you don't know what you are talking about because he saw something through the open cockpit door, saw it on Airliners.net, watched it on a video etc. etc. Have fun flying the real thing!
