I doubt any serious 30 year old would consider buying MS Flight.... I assume that their audience that they are targeting is about 8-15.... Prepar3d is my next serious platform for simming.... Xplane's outlook is bleak(IMHO)Maybe after 1.2 comes out in Prepar3d and they will have a more casual pricing plan I will make my purchase for it...

I'm serious, and I'll buy it since I own every version since 2.0. I'm prepared to be dissapointed though...

Give everthing a chance before being disappointed and don't make judgements based from some screenshots. Wait for release and then judge things.

Based on what? Rumors that at this point are just that and have not been verified? At least wait until the actual product is released or more substantive information becomes available before making such a statement....

I never really liked seriousness or serious people though, so i think i'll go for flight :( Oh and someone remind me.. what were those facts that prove that flight is being developed for kids again? Seriously (:(), all this rumourmongering avails to absolutely nothing. Some people seem to be addicted to it though, and do it at every opportunity. Would it be too much to ask to just stick to the facts?

What facts? So in the absence of facts, folks are just having fun with it. . ... It appears to me that some of you want to stop the speculation because you fear that it might come true. Not to worry, just because someone said it doesnt mean they can wish it into existence

Well it's true we don't have all the facts. But it seems that people just fill those holes up with their flights of fancy, and when these are repeated often enough, people accept them as facts. Indeed some of the speculations might come true, but for now we have no way of knowing.. and as long as we don't forget that speculations are just that, i think we're OK :)

I'm guessing that MS will release Flight on Dec 12 2012. That way if Flight sucks people will be too busy getting hit by a meteor to really care. It's genius if you ask me.
