Are you waiting on Flights release before you buy a new PC?

Yes, as long as you have set your sliders to reasonable positions, that is entirely possible.

Ummm, just so you know. FSX doesn't bring my system to its knees. Just saying.
Very nice system, similar to what I would get if buying now. Not sure I could accomplish that OC though!I would want my system to be able to smoothly handle KATL (Imaginesim) with a couple of hundred+ AI on the ground and in the area (UT2 traffic & cargo addons), with UTX, and GEX, and FSX scenery settings all maxed out, flying the Captain Sim 752. Might as well throw in active sky while i'm at it. Not asking too much am I?

Not waiting on MS Flight, but I am waiting. My current rig is running FSX just wonderfully, so I have no need to change at this time. Same some money, tuck it away, and with XP10/Flight release, check the early reviews about performance to know if a new rig will be needed. Then, spend accordingly. :)-Greg

UT2 traffic & cargo addons
Cargo addons? Is this something that can be downloaded for UT2?

I know what you mean. That's the same with me.

Yes but i think that a current high end rig should be enough to run MS Flight decently. Well, that's my speculation and finally i will follow itCheersIgnacio Big%20Grin.gif

I am. Are you? If so where are Intel at with their latest chipset release? What motherboard / processor are you looking at? Obviously i'm going to try and get the best performance for my budget at the time of Flights release in 2011 / 2012. Will we be beyond the i3, i5, i7 stage by then and onto something new from Intel?
I'm not.1. I just bought a new PC2. To me, with all the lack of factual info, MS Flight is just another hype sofar.Rob
