Hi there, I have recently updated my signature to enforce the forum rules, But I feel like the height restriction is a little too heavy. As you can see by my picture that used to be; Original, With length restriction [not height] [400x128] and now [see below] Is there any way we can discuss with staff members, to fit some kind of compromise with the signitures. This is the only forum I visit that allows pictures in the signature. I don't think it matters much. It still looks like a 747 with your name and that you are a 'virtual crew'

I haven't come across many forums that doesn't allow pictures completely to my knowledge. Alex

Pictures in posts are usually allowed.Pictures in signatures is a different thing because they will show up with every post. Perhaps you could increase the size of the text to make it more readable?

I had this made for me years back so cannot edit it, I think it would just be an easier get around for everyone to have the height a tad more.

After you see a big signature block the first dozen times, the next dozen times it kinda gets annoying. They don't really DO anything, and eat up a lot of screen real estate. Agreed - signatures aren't necessary, and like Sluggy I don't really care.

Yeah, you´re right. That´s very annoying.To the Op: This restriction has made due to save some bandwith, which is, just in fact you´ve forgot, fully free for you.

I got some bad news for you, your sig is still in violation ie: file size. It needs to be less then 20KB, yours is 33KB. You should use the one Raindance made for you, it's clearer, and meets AVSIM's requirements.

You are making a mistake. The one Raindance made for you is better, in my opinion.While on the subject, I agree with the others who say we don't need photos, signature blocks, system specs, and in your case your add that you are a professional musician. Don't get mad. Just my opinion and we are still friends as what you use is allowed and legal within this site.Howard
