You have to shake your head with this bird

Every time i fly this machine i shake my head on how good it is. If some thing don't work you better not post here or make sure you have a valid complaint cause sure as heck it's some thing you did wrong. I sure hope every one who is involved in the making of it is making a good dollar and you deserve one heck of a good holiday.

You'll love tir. Only thing is male sure you can pan around the vc without micro-stuttering first. That will definitely be disconcerting and has given me headaches before moving to my current pc.

I rarely used my TIR. Then I got EZDok after all I heard in here. Now I use TIR all the time and its got so bad I nearly went to the shop with my hat on and attached Track thingie. I guess that peaked cap is so comfortable I forgot I had it on. Whistle.gif Steve

Just installed Tir-5. Works great, wish I had something like it for my car. Would make backing out of my driveway a heck of a lot easier. Buck Bolduc

Man that's so funny that you almost wore the hat out to the shop. Reminds me of a time when I was rudely interupted during a "romantic encouter" with my gf that I actually got dressed and left her house still wearing the prophylactic, although no one would be able to see it like they could in your situation, hahaha.Sean Campbell

Feel exactly the same.

I have to admit, that I belong to this group of headbangers too:). The NGX was the reason to change definitely to fsx. Combination NGX and TIR is awesome. The level of this aircraft is outstanding. Its everytime a pleasure to do the checks. Its wonderful to look outside the window and see the strobelights illuminating the ground in the evening. Its cool to taxi and look around in the cockpit with TIR. Its fantastic to watch the wingflex while in the air. Simply everything you're doing is amazing. After nearly 50 flights the satisfaction is as big as at the first one. Its worth every penny - thank you PMDG, regardsChris

Try answering the door when the mailman arrives, while wearing the TIR... The look on the guys face is worth the "loony-stamp" you'll definately get around the neighborhood... lol... But remember, be as serious as ever, and keep a straigh face - that'll make the mailmans face become even more weird... Mas

Could have been worse and I`ll really have to dig up a picture cos I still have the hat. Before I got the TIR I read about the ones you make yourself from an old web cam. so I got the plans and stripped one of my spare cams, took out the offending parts and put a filter in made up of an old film negative-had to send out for that as I`m all digital now. I got one of my many peaked caps and made a cardboard box covered in electricians tape down one side of the hat to house the battery, sewed to it too to strengthen it. I both sewed and glued a T shaped chassis at the front bent to the correct shape to which I fastened 4 LEDs. Down the other side I attached a switch to the side of the hat. I made a loom of wires cut to the right lengths and covered most of it in black electricians tape to match the hat. All links I soldered so their were some bare wires showing. Now imagine walking out wearing that or seeing someone off to the local airport terminal. I`d be in a cell by now or shot Whistle.gif It did work but not as good as the TIR itself, but as an experiment in itself I really enjoyed it. I kept the hat for posterity, she might wear it too one day. Never though did I imagine how powerful the TIR and EZDok would be as a combination, to be seen is to be believed-I`m a convert thanks to this forum. Steve

I travelled from Gatwick to Alicante this week and chose RyanAir so I'd get a ride on a 738. I ran through the flight with Eiresim's LEAL, UK2000's EGKK and the NGX before I left, and with so much detail now available in the sim, it actually makes you feel like you've made the trip already. I sat just behind the wing and compared the takeoff video to the one from FSX. Apart from the lack of the inevitable screaming baby in the PMDG 738, they are so similar It makes you shake your head :)
