October 30, 201114 yr Seems to be a plethora of posters not bothering to post their "full" real names.Just thought I'd warn you guys, if your posts disappear, it's because you haven't posted your full name.PMDG do delete such posts!

Now it´s the time to purchase it......Thx a lot for all your effort bringing it to SP1.But I have confused about first install...Enough to install only basepack or install SP1 after base pack... October 30, 201114 yr Hello,Thank's for the update. But in 2d view I have no horizon. I see the daisies or the bitumen.Other 737NGX PMDG drivers have the same problem ?If so, there he has a solutionthank you for your future responseDaniel
October 30, 201114 yr hhm. did as described and unfortunately it is worse than ever before. The first CTD I got when I entered my license key. The second when sitting on the apron at EDDM. No time right now to further investigate this but this is not very encouraging. and yes, I deinstalled the 737 before including deleting some leftover folders... October 30, 201114 yr I have seen a lot of videos on youtube (real ones and PMDG 737NGX's videos). On the real ones there is a women voice who says sth. like "On runway 2-5 left" or "Approaching runway 25L". However, I didnt hear it in any of the PMDG 737NGX's videos? Why is this not implemented in the NGX?here is an example (can be heard at 0:41): Cheers,Ensar B

October 30, 201114 yr Should make for a nice little Simconnect ADDON, for both PMDG and any other similar addon aircraft. Also, notice that nice "Class 2" EFB Moving Map to the left of the Captain !!! Another nice Potential ADDON (EFB) EFB is becoming the latest “must-have” device in the cockpit. They have the ability to do the following tasks: Calculate take-off or landing performance. Calculate weight & balance. Contain the aircraft technical log. Store navigation charts & plates. Store company manuals, FCOMs, crew notices, etc. Retrieve & display weather. Display checklists. Display on-board video surveillance cameras. The advantages to crew are the accuracy of the data and ease of use. The advantages to the airlines are the cost benefits of a less paper cockpit and real time data transfer. There are three classes of EFB: Class 1: Fully portable. Eg a laptop. Class 2: Portable but connected to the aircraft during normal operations. Eg tablet & docking station. Class 3: Installed (non-removable) equipment. ---------------Check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5vqTx1iD_M VERY COOL !!

Make sure Main Panel is ticked. The 2D panel should be restored. Andrew Dixon"If common sense was compulsory everyone would have it but I am afraid this is not the case"
October 30, 201114 yr Commercial Member I don't hear the 80KNOTS, V1 and VR callouts. I have them enabled in the FMS. How do you turn of the Co-Pilots display, I have forgot?SP1 is great!! Will get the 600/700 Expansion for Christmas.Aaron G.I'm having the same problem. Also, when I start the sim in the engines running (Ready) state, it sounds like the engines are eating themselves for a few seconds. When I did the uninstall, I also deleted all the folders (including Sim Objects), rebooted, cleaned the registry, rebooted, and did a clean install.I'll give the uninstall and reinstall another go. October 30, 201114 yr I have the sound of something crashing also, when the initialisation is finished. It´s funny somehow, but also annoying, you don´t want to hear something breaking each time you load up the NGX. Oliver Donner
October 30, 201114 yr Commercial Member I have the sound of something crashing also, when the initialisation is finished. It´s funny somehow, but also annoying, you don´t want to hear something breaking each time you load up the NGX.Well, here goes my first support ticket.... ever. All things considered, they are sort of minor given I can still fly the aircraft.Anyway.... anyone getting any of these???1. No FO call outs (V1, etc). Had V1 call out before SP1.2. Water will not show as Cyan despite being set, unset, set again. Worked prior to SP1.3. WIth Water as Cyan set, I did get the entire ND to display green, changed range scale and it went away. This did not occur before SP1/4. Upon starting the sim (in the Ready state), I'm still getting the sound of engines eating themselves. Darned maintenance crew left a wrench on the cowls of both engines? Sounds absolutely HORRIBLE, though it goes away after about 3 or 4 seconds.5. The engine sounds are terribly low compared to pre-SP1. I tried switching to every display I could think of and then back into the cockpit, and at some point the engine sounds came back to what they were to pre-SP1. I've also tried setting the all sounds in the CDU to 100, and toying with FSX sound settings, all to no avail. The aircraft was working very well for me pre-SP1, no problems i could detect, though I understand others were having them.I'll put a support ticket in on these issues, as they occured after two complete uninstalls (including deleting the NGX folders in the FSX root and Sim Objects, deleted all past profiles and saved flights. I also tried deleting all of the TRUSTED entries in th FSX Config, didn't make a difference. Oh, and my DLL.XML file is fine. Before SP1 the sound while loading was the trim wheel turning.
