October 31, 201114 yr Go To your Main FSX Directory, Find SIMOBJECTS Folder - AIRPLANES Folder - PMDG 737-800NGX Folder - PANEL Folder And in the panel folder open the file panel.cfg with notepad. Scroll down until you see the following lines and replace the one line I have highlighted in red with my values. Viola your Fixed! Have Fun!Note you only have to do this once cause the other 800/900 models are aliased to this file. If you have the 600/700 Expansion pack which I don't, you probably will have to do this for the PMDG 737-600NGX Panel.cfg as well.[VIEWS]VIEW_FORWARD_WINDOWS=MAIN_PANEL,MINIPANELVIEW_FORWARD_DIR=3.100, 0.000, 0.000VIEW_FORWARD_ZOOM=0.8Thank you for your help Paul it fixed the issue and I am back to enjoying the sim.
October 31, 201114 yr Did a flight WMKK-WBGB-WMKK the plane was perfect after the SP1 even though i got black texture like tail and engine plane turn black or grey aslo the scenery turn black, floating objects, panel freeze, planes turn skeleton and a flickering mouse(flickering mouse rarely happens) on the flight from WMKK-WBGB that cause me from framerate in VC 20-30FPS and outside 30-50FPS to VC 3.7 - 4.0FPS and outside almost the same at the VC,suprisingly din't get a single "Out of Memory" error. Also SP1 increase my framerate(VC 10-15,outside 20-30) and WBGB-WMKK was perfect Thank you PMDG :D
October 31, 201114 yr Many Thanks,Just went for a brief test run and all seems fine.Highest regard for your commitment to excellence.Nicholas Boskovic

October 31, 201114 yr Ok another issue I have with SP1 is that when I switch to the outside view, the plane is slowly buildings itself from the skeleton upwards. This did not happen before SP1. Is there any fix for this? Oliver Donner
October 31, 201114 yr Ok another issue I have with SP1 is that when I switch to the outside view, the plane is slowly buildings itself from the skeleton upwards. This did not happen before SP1. Is there any fix for this?Try using the smaller textures using the new Performance Manager and see if that solves your problem.
October 31, 201114 yr I already use the low res textures and as I said, that didn´t happen before SP1. Oliver Donner
October 31, 201114 yr Ok another issue I have with SP1 is that when I switch to the outside view, the plane is slowly buildings itself from the skeleton upwards. This did not happen before SP1. Is there any fix for this?Very strange. Have you maintained same graphics setting as before? One more thing, have you ran a defrag after reinstallation of this addon? Sometimes objects and textures time loading when your HDD is fragmented takes more time.Bye. Capt. RICCARDO RIGHETTIProud customer of the PMDG 737NGX and PMDG 777X (wating for next... October 31, 201114 yr I already use the low res textures and as I said, that didn´t happen before SP1.Ok, sorry if I missed you're already using the smaller textures. Did you try to delete your FSX.cfg file and let FSX rebuild it?
October 31, 201114 yr Yeah I use Ultimate Defrag 3 with the high performance settings and did this after the completely new installation of the NGX and SP1. Graphics settings are the same. Ok, sorry if I missed you're already using the smaller textures. Did you try to delete your FSX.cfg file and let FSX rebuild it?No haven´t tried that, but I don´t think that it has something to do with it. Maybe PMDG changed something in the code as to the memory usage and this is causing it.My system:Core i5 650 @3.2Ghz4GB RamATI 5570 1GBWin7 64bitENBseries and Shade is running, but that worked before SP1 as well without this skeleton effect. October 31, 201114 yr Hi, this only happens , at least in my case , if i fly with the 2D panel, which now is flyable (because the point of view has changed and improved, IMO), and change to external view.Best.Miquel Egea.
October 31, 201114 yr Having a spot of trouble finding the NGX SP1. Seems to have vanished.cheersJohn Cornish
October 31, 201114 yr I waited for the release of SP1 to purchase the aircraft and I did it right after it was announced. I'm really enjoying this magnificent aircraft and the PMDG team deserves a very loud applause. That being said, I have a small problem and I am curious about the details. One of the SP1 improvements notes: "Added more robust support for custom FMC waypoints that are created as the result of downselecting already existing LEGS, RTE or FIX page waypoints". Well, that really does not seem to work for me. For example, when I tap in let's say BIG/-2 it creates a custom waypoint as BIG001, thus seem to work as intended. But when I try to create another waypoint using this new custom waypoint like BIG001270/10, it says "Not in Database". The note clearly states SP1 should allow this to be done, but it simply does not work. Not that it is a huge issue, still it would be very nice to have especially for visual/custom approaches. I wonder if this is scheduled to be fixed/improved.Anyways, thank you for this excellent aircraft once again.Doruk Selçuk
October 31, 201114 yr PMDG NGX and Sp1 really good and deserves praise.I hope PMDG Boeing 777 design will also look forward to a close ...Soner
