November 16, 201114 yr We've said nothing about "early next year" - that is ridiculous, we just finished the NGX.RyanIgnore these people and their speculation about the 777. Just delete the whole thread.Michael Cubine Michael Cubine

December 3, 201114 yr I personally think people should give Captain Sim a break. If you haven't bought their 777 "Preview Model" or whatever you want to call it then you can't even start to say the quality is going to be bad. The wing is probably the most impressive part of it all. So highly detailed, especially the GE90 Engine! I think we can see it in the New Year. PMDG however expect Mid/Late 2013 maybe even Early 2014. By then all being well I'll be a fully qualified Pilot! But hey who says I can't fly on FSX in my free time?Trust me I literally check CS Website couple times a day, my tummy goes as I'm waiting to see "777 Base Pack Released". Yes I'm a massive 777 fan! I'm flying the Level-D 767 as I'm "Preparing for it" :D - Luke Pabari
December 3, 201114 yr I wonder how it will go with the Dash? Is there a team working on it or is it just floating in the background? Manfred G. Ships are cooler that you think.
December 3, 201114 yr HEY you(:i am dying to fly the triple sevenlol don't worry mate...I think you'll survive! ;) J Thomas YBBN
December 3, 201114 yr Are they still doing the dash 8 project? haven't heard any mention of that anymore, it sounds like they might have skipped it and just went right into the 777 project John Bauer
December 4, 201114 yr I think when PMDG 777 will come out it will be a huge success as there is no decent 777 in the flight simulation market and besidein the real world the boeing 777 is the most successful with airlines due to its economy with fuel and it's gracious look.chahe makhadjian
December 4, 201114 yr the pmdg 777 will see the light for christmas 2012. they have just released the 737ngx, then will be released sp1b, then ER expansion, then sp2. what i can advise to the PMDG team is while the 777 project starts at full speed, upgrade the ONLY 747-400 3d cockpit with the new development process bringing it to the NGX Series by employing a new 3d artist (in case the ones in the team are too busy with the 777) and then sell the upgrade of the only 3d new cockpit (pls add the glass this time [same for the md11...only glass, the 3d cockpit still quite good]) at 14.99 dollar or 19.99 dollar for the existing customers. of cuz the system will remain the same otherwise the 777 will see the light in the 2014.what u think? a good idea? at least while waiting the 777 we can use 737ngx and 747ngx for long flights without getting too bored

December 6, 201114 yr I believe some people get excited for a product but when it's released, in stead of enjoying it (and maybe asking for liveries in the forum :) ) they forget about the product that in this case PMDG just launched (the NGX) and start asking and asking and pleading for the next product... Come on, calm down and enjoy the NGX. I almost forgot PMDG is making the 777. Maybe I'm enjoying the NGX too much!Happy landings!Andrew Andreu EscuainHPE-560es i7 2600 - 12GB RAM - [3GB] nVidia GeForce GT 440
December 6, 201114 yr Commercial Member To these guys' credit, if I didn't care a lick about the NGX, I'd probably go right on getting excited for the 777, especially if I didn't buy the NGX and it wasn't keeping me busy. I think there's an incorrect assumption here that everyone is simply interested in everything PMDG makes, and will therefore be distracted by the current release. On the other hand, I laugh when people make requests like this. It's not going to speed anything up, as much as even I want it to. Kyle Rodgers
December 6, 201114 yr I can't believe how many people are thinking about the 777 so soon after the NGX, (don't get me wrong, I love hearing what people think, and I look forward to it very much) but with the ability to make RNP approaches, as well learning to use a HUD for low vis. non-precision approaches, I've thought of nothing but the NGX in my simming world... :)Charlie Charlie Reed i9 9900K | 32GB RAM | RTX 3090
