January 13, 201214 yr Commercial Member The thing is, if you can 'get the 737 Evo in the air' then you can get the NGX in the air exactly the same way...Actually it's easier to start NGX because it does not have bugs in the startup procedure that Wilco currently has Michael A2A Simulations
January 13, 201214 yr Indeed. Actually it's easier to start NGX because it does not have bugs in the startup procedure that Wilco currently has Indeed. :( Best regards, Fritz ESSONO
January 13, 201214 yr I didn't regret buying the Evo so far. Its intermediate complexity is just right for me.Did you see that Fs2Crew may come up new and fresh for it? MCE works also on most features, so if you'd ever wished for a FO, there may be one. http://forum.avsim.net/topic/359011-pic737-evolution/page__view__findpost__p__2217304
January 13, 201214 yr The thing is, if you can 'get the 737 Evo in the air' then you can get the NGX in the air exactly the same way...Bad/ugly/cheaper add-ons aren't necessarily easier to 'operate' or get a grip on while good add-ons are difficult. It doesn't work that way. Especially with two 737s.They are BOTH 737 and are both operated 99% the same way.I fail to understand this kind of thinking really : you will not fall out the virtual skies because it's a NGX. Of fly nicely because it's a Wilco. But if U're happy. Eh... I'm glad for U.It's mainly about the FMC for me. The Evo imports flight plans for FSX. I use Ideal Flight for flight preparation, it generates FSX flight plans. With the NGX, as far as I understand, I have to program the FMC myself. It's just inconvenient for me.Liking the Evo doesn't make the PMDG bad. :-)
January 13, 201214 yr I didn't regret buying the Evo so far.Glad someone can get something out of this rubbish even with the NGX installed :( But for me it's a problem for the community when products like the evo sell because it just means it's Ok to put out such rubbish knowing people will still buy it. As far as commercial jets go we have such a little amount of company's that are worth while now that helping Wilco take the ###### is well a ###### take. I would never put Wilco any were near PMDG but the version 1 of the 737 was not a bad effort, it may be old but I've used it a lot over the years. So I was a surprised to see just a awful V2 is compared to V1 and with the Wilco Airbus Evos it's clear Wilco have given up with making any worth while products.
January 13, 201214 yr Don't be harsh. Intelligent and educated people like you stay away from the Evo, idiots and morons like me buy them.it's such a simple world, isn't it?

February 10, 201214 yr Author Guys, it seems the Wilco 737 Evo 1.1 was released (see Avsim's home page)(, but I can't for the life of me find out where to get the update. Anybody know where it is?Anywho, it seems the document I and CoolP sent Wilco with ideas and suggestions for fixes did help out. They corrected over 140 individual things! And who said Wilco isn't receptive to these things? Anybody know where it is?Ben, cant you find out who posted that avsim article and ask them?I just took a look on the Wilco downlodable products page and nothing there, very strang, but good news that they've made a bunch of fixes huh Dean Stringer
February 10, 201214 yr I've downloaded the installer again and while it still reads 10 in the name, it's slightly changed to my initial download of that 10. But I've dropped them a ticket asking for 1.1, just in case. Thanks for the HU!
February 10, 201214 yr I've received my answer already. Hi,It will be available shortly. Improving it a bit more.
