Fair enough, Damian. That's what I''m looking for indeed. Thanks for your post. I saw Simmarket already warns the users about slow downloads, so the reports may come quickly as the folks are buying. I just hope that some take it serious and can say more than the scientific 'much better now'.

I would be most interested in that as well. I have only had REX2 for about 3 weeks, and really have no desire to replace their textures. But I understand your weather engine is the only way to go, so I have been holding out for this new release to see what might be offered.I suspect there may be many other users, of REX or other texture programs for that matter, that would be very interested in the textureless option as well, if it were to be offered.
