How many new 737 rolled off the PMDG production line?

Featured Replies

Since it's release a few months ago - It would be interesting to find out how many PMDG NGX's where sold as a result of the years of development go into it. Could it be more than the current 737NGX fleet out there now?Matt

Well by counting order numbers since the NGX was released...a lot, lol. I doubt you will get PMDG to say, they have never talked finances and they shouldn't. Even though I know your curiosity has nothing to do with finances specifically.

I'm 101% sure they won't say. Sorry. Others have asked already and they left very clear in various topics before and after the NGX was released that they will not give any numbers. And as Noah said, in fact they shouldn't do so anyway.

That's the privilege/right of a privately held company.  If PMDG were to ever have an IPO I'd jump in for a few shares.

I didn't want to know their finances would just be interesting to see if there are more NGX drivers than there are real NGX's :PMatt

I thought we just discussed this last week and they said that NO data, fuzzy numbers, estimates, graphs, income statements, or any other information would be released?

Sure, I think most people would be interested too Matt, purely out of curiosity. But as has already been said, me thinks you'll be whistling in the wind :(

Yep! Now what?

dont think we will ever really know, and as it should be. But we can guess untill the cows come home hehe. i would hazard a guess that they sold many more then they ever did on the MD-11 as the 737 is so much more popular and (short route happy) and with modern PCs being able to handle FSX smoothly these days its was pefect timing for the NGX.

guys- its not that hard to figure out. If you look on there fb page they have about 9000 likes. Now not everyone who ' liked ' it bought one, and not everyone who bought one ' liked ' it. so AROUND there.RSR and other developers ( VRS ) have mentioned how small the FS market is.

I don't care about hard numbers, I just hope that it was successful enough for PMDG to continue doing their magic and to finance their next big project...whatever that may be.
