January 6, 201214 yr This whole "I want a refund" thing is really annoying. PMDG has delivered to its paying customers precisely what they are obligated to deliver: the NGX. None of us (correct me if I'm wrong) paid for the right to receive SDK. If you think you did, read the NGX EULA again. Look at your invoice. Something missing? Yes, the SDK, for one thing.
January 6, 201214 yr I am going to say one thing....Learn the plane, enjoy it!! I know for a fact you do not know all the systems, because I have had it since release night, and I don't know all the systems. I find something new everyday. Basically have patience. I'm gonna spend months getting good at flying this plane, and then I can move on to failures, flying online (again), etc etc etc. There's tons of stuff to do without picking on one aspect and complaining about it (especially on a flaming 5th post to the forum). FS2Crew sounds great, and the developers are true FS enthusiasts, but PMDG has been clear and honest about the SDK's status. Trust me, they WANT to release it, really. Jack Urie

Yes, the SDK, for one thing.I am not really into the SDK debate (Which i will call "IT" for the remainder of this post). However i did previously post an opinion that this whole thing could be put to bed for a lot of people (including me) by simply confirming that it will be made available to other developers. That i think was done by Ryan on i believe Jan,04/2012. Therefore, PMDG being a developer with a solid reputation in the FS world, i am happy. What i do find quite upsetting is that every time somebody utters one word of criticism in the direction of PMDG, a whole bunch of self appointed Forum Police, Administrators, etc. start circling the wagons. Yet they stand by and watch other equally reputable devs get trashed. What is even more upsetting is that these same people trash these other devs while accusing somebody else for doing exactly the same thing. As far as i am concerned, Enough Already. This is a forum for friendly discussion and its high time to return to that. Rick Hobbs

January 6, 201214 yr Commercial Member The NGX was a long time coming and a huge amount of time, resources and money went into it's development. Sometimes it seems like people take for granted what an outstanding product it is and the genius it took to create it. Learn the systems, master the aircraft and enjoy it while your waiting and eventually you'll get your FS2crew. :( Paul, unfortunately it seems that the lurkers like me do just this and the annoying people who keep harping on about the same thing, over and over again on this forum, will never be the type to do that. Which makes me wonder why they even bought the NGX in the first place, as just flying A to B with an FMC can be achieved in any old addon using vasFMC. Which leads me to the conclusion that they're just whiners. I'll sit patiently in the background, waiting for FS2Crew to come out and enjoy the wonders of the NGX. January 6, 201214 yr You don't speak for me champ. Keep that OCCUPY crap to yourself. In a lot of ways, this is exactly like Occupy (or shall I say, "Crockupy"). A bunch of people get together to complain for the sake of complaining. Most of them can't even tell you what they are so worked up about. The ones who try to conjure up some justification sound so ridiculous that they make their oblivious comrades look somewhat enlightened. It's all very amusing. January 6, 201214 yr As a software developer, i understand the full legal aspects and issues associated with releasing SDK's...and let me assure you, I am not going to release any of my SDK's without full legal backing, and im also not going to update you on what the specific situation is that i am having with any other parties. I will only tell you that we have legal issues, and to sit on it until its ready. and i highly highly doubt PMDG are going to 1, jeopardize themselves in any fashion for anybody, and 2, that they are sitting around doing nothing. Have some respect. sometimes its just out of our hands and we really need to stop and just wait. Edited January 6, 201214 yr by BreezyPointDeparture Max PMDG 747X & 737NGX Pilot

January 6, 201214 yr Now i'm really ######, because like many of you, flying a commercial airliner singlecrewed just doesn't feel right and can get really tricky if flying online with the whole workload (wonder why it isn't rated singlecrew ops in real life?). I just realised that i would have done better buying the not-so-perfect ng from the known competition, i would have everything i need and prolly be happy flying. With all respect, it seems to me we are loosing sight of good sense.....this is a hobby, a wonderful hobby, sometimes so close to reality that leads us to believe that we are right up there.. but saying that it doesn't feel right to fly it singlecrewed seems to be a little too strong....!..."..wonder why it isn't rated singlecrew ops in real life.?" ..that's the point : this IS NOT real life..! Don't misunderstand me: I love FS2Crew addons and I think they add a lot of realism as well as I am eagerly waiting for the NGX addon to be issued, and I use checklists and all the other stuff that can make me feel as close as possible to real life....BUT it is still a sim and if for one reason or another the FS2Crew for NGX takes another year before being issued...I won't care....the NGX is still a truly enjoyable bird to fly, online and offline, and if sometimes you want to practice some circuit patterns, touch and go and so on, you will enjoy it even more.So relax...enjoy your sim and forget about real life: this is the beauty of modern PC simulation....with a bunch of $ or € (well, maybe something more that a bunch...!!!) we all can really think for a while we can fly a real 737NG...!Regards AMD Ryzen 7800x3d, Asus ROG Strix RTX4090, Asus x670e-e, G-Skill F5-6000J3038F16GX2-TZ5NR
