OP, look at some of the "pro-flight" threads in this forum... Take Oz's hardware discussion, see any hijacking there? hm, nope, so it seems you are able to have any discussion you want about Flight if you manage to pull yourself away from this idea that you're being trampled over by other peoples views and opinions.

Let's all hold hands and sing the praises of Flight whether we like it or not.

Please, Tom, is it time to do something? As usual, I trust completely in you and your judgment, as you have always done what is best for Avsim.

I'm not sure what you want him to do, since you never explicitly say it in your post. He has already created a seperate Flight forum - is this enough?

Luis, my opinion is that, if you came as far as you came, to write a topic like this, that you really have some inner troubles.Other people opinions, statements, angers or dissatisfaction do not move anything emotionally in me. And would never give me a slightest reason to write such a topic.I would only look upon it from the practical level - if it's personal, lock the topic, if not, just read and forget...To me it looks like you need a break from AVSIM, or maybe just the Flight forum, or possibly the whole flight simulator hobby. I think you should only reflect upon yourself.But maybe Tom can read, as Chase has nicely put it, between the lines. I surely see no lines in between.

You could start your own Avsim FLIGHT group. More than likely the only members who would join would be the believers.

Some people are just too negative and makes these forums very unenjoyable but despite you are right, we can't change it.I'll give you a piece of advice.Quit this forum for a longgg while, and try to find another one with more positive people who really enjoy their hobby in a healthier and more constructive way. There is more intelligent life out there and this forum is not the center of anything.
