Jay,We have 4 A319's painted in "Legacy" paint schemes. One for Allegheny, PSA, Piedmont, America West. The PSA aircraft was in Dallas this morning.

Steve,Having just come across this thread, I wanted to mention how great your paints look. Thanks so much for doing a number of different US Airways liveries, I'll be downloading all your completed paints this evening and I look forward to the rest of your to-do list. :drinks:FWIW, I flew the Piedmont livery a few years ago - I remember it quite well. Also, is US Airways still flying the football teams? Eagles, Steelers, Cardinals, and Panthers? Now those are absolutely the greatest paints, IMHO...

Thanks AJ!Unless I get sidetracked...I should have the Allegheny bird done by mid-week as my evenings are fairly free this week. I will forever be a loyal Piedmont fan. We still have a lot of Piedmont references at KROA (Roanoke, VA) where I grew up. I had not planned on doing the football themed paints...just the regular ones.

Al, Yes, our professional team liveries are still flying. Management has actually done a nice job with the paint schemes since the merger, unlike the previous management, who came up with the dark blue paint job. Not a real good idea for aircraft that sit in the sun all day.

Ah, very cool. I'll never forget - I got to walk right next to my favorite team (Eagles) livery one day, when arriving at National (while walking to the terminal from our commuter flight on the tarmac). Beteween seeing my favorite team and having a hobby of colleting AI liveries for FS, my coworkers absolutely could not understand why I just stood there on the tarmac looking at the plane. Some people just don't get it, LOL... Not that I really expect them to...

It's amazing the number of employees from other airlines who come over to our gates and take pictures of our airplanes painted in team colors. The Pittsburgh Steelers pane draws the most interest, although I don't know why, especially here in Dallas.

Steve,Thank you for both liveries, they top notch!!Regards,Bob L

Great Paints, any chance of the 600 / 900 in the current white and blue colors? Thanks for the great work!

I still find the Panther's scheme most aesthetically pleasing. Then again, I'm partial!

I might eventually adapt the livery to a -600 model. I need to finish the promised list first. Then there's a Delta bird I really want to paint...lol.

I just finished uploading the fictional U.S. Airways (Allegheny legacy series) -700 (non-winglet) to the AVSIM library. It's based on a similar paint scheme used on the A-319s around 2007-2008. Now it's on to that America West bird!737-700NGX_Allegheny-1.jpg737-700NGX_Allegheny-3.jpg737-700NGX_Allegheny-2.jpg
