I do not understand why people are posting to say the DC-6 isn't for them. Have you tried one? If not, how would you know its not for you?

Wise words; I agree. They are two entirely different experiences that each bring their own intricacies, complications and enjoyment to the one flying. I cannot say that with certainty as I haven't flown any in RL but I am excited to study, learn and understand what incredible things these two machines can do.

Would much rather see the Dash 8 before any of these....but that is my opinion.777 is not for me. I don't have time for long haul airliner ops.....nor do I want to! Each to their own of course........

747 updated is probably my most desired a/c - 777 nice, but id much rather see the 787 as cockpit wise that be a major differenece from most boeings we see now If i was told I could only have one a/c from each segment of the market, then it be the NGX for meduim, DH8D(I know that unlikely to be the one they develop) for short haul, and 747 for long haul, the present queen is too dated now and no hardware interface for it really.Id like to see them update the JS41 with some fixes to the autopilot(hold function namely) etc, as thats a fun plane to fly to.outside of that I know they said they wont again, but some buisness jets be good, G5, etcOf course it be also great to see an Airbus appear at some point - but doubt very mch well see that from PMDG

Yeah I really would have preferred focus on the 777. I can't imagine the DC-6 project expediting the 777 any. I won't be buying the classic stuff. The airlines retired them for a reason... the same reason I won't be buying them. hah.mitch bowman

+1! The 747-400x is now several years old, and while still a great bird to fly she lacks some of the great features that Im sure the 777 will have. Imagine the amount of detail given to the NGX, but on the magnificent 777! I can already hear those GE90s reving up!! SO EXCITED!mitch bowman

This project is being done by people other than the 777 team, for the most part, who don't have much to do between major projects, and have lessor roles in these major projects.Don't assume something if it hasn't been said already.
