When I try to install the SP1c for 800/900 I get an error saying that the previous version is incompatible and needs to be uninstalled.The 600/700 update seems to install OK.I am currently running with SP1b.

Guys who are getting this error - what is your exact chain of install up to this point? Open your aircraft.cfg files and tell me what the version number listed is. I'm confused with people showing 3116 as the build - SP1b was 3118 and I don't know how anyone would have had 3116.

How do I uninstall the aircraft? and then do I just need to reinstall just the original and SP1c?

I got the error also ... but this SP1C should install "over" any previous version ... as I understand the instructions?

Mine says :////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// PMDG 737NGx// // Current with Build: 1.00.3116 Actually 3118 per PMDG///////////////////////////////////////////////////////[fltsim.0]title=Boeing 737-800NGX PMDG Housesim=B737-800model=etc.I added the " Actually 3118 per PMDG" as a reminder when I installed SP1b prior.I will look at all models next and see.What exactly should that line say to get the update going?

i get the same error too 737-800ngx 1.00.3116 but since this is a typo should be 3118 as the above post saysCould it be that some off us has when we installed the sp1 b got the 3116 where as it really is 3118 but the installer is looking at the 3116 instead of the 3118

Ryan the build in the cfg is1.00.3116

Uninstall the 737, reinstall the RTM version and then install SP1C.Works ok for me. Gave version error during install having SP1B installed hence having to install only RTM version

Remember there was a problem with SP1b that shipped with 3116 version that should have been 3118. I think that is the stem of the problem.Simple fix was to uninstall the 8900 and then reinstall the base (no service packs installed) and then apply SP1c.

I'm also having the version error with SP1c.After the initial release I only patched with the SP1b update. Hi RyanMine is 1.00.3116 as well.Can we simply uninstall the 8900 and then reinstall the base (no service packs installed) and then apply SP1c for the 800/900 without any effect on the 600/700 package as suggested?
