Well, with the soon o be released Just Flight 737:

The also newly-announced Milviz 737:http://forum.avsim.net/topic/365144-just-saw-this-and-thought-id-share-looks-real-nice/and Captain Sim FINALLY giving us preview shots for their 737:http://captainsim.com/products/x737/200/vc.htmlWe now have 3 737-200 addons that will be coming on to the market...obviously the JF will be out first, but the Captain Sim looks much better externally IMHO and as of now, the Milviz VC has 3D gauges, which is a deciding point for myself...and we don't know the Milviz/CS release dates, yet, so which one interests you guys?

Milviz by far based on my experience with their T-38A, F-15E, and C310. The flight dynamics will be superb combined with excellent systems and visuals.

If I do go for the MILVIZ version, that will be my first milviz purchase, and the VC looks amazing. Just flight maybe if I can't wait, but I am partial to Captain Sim, and may try it

I've been very happy with CaptainSim in the past so would probably plump for that one and their VC's can be stunning. Sometimes it takes a while for everything to be ironed out but CaptainSim aren't alone in that. I have and like the T38-A but the C310 was a real killer on my system and I had to claim my refund so that raises alarm bells with me for something as complex as a 737!

Me says, from previous releases, that the Milviz will be a sure shot for me. No disappointment so far, but very pleased about the quality and operation. The CS 737 will be another sure purchase of mine. Well, cheating a bit on that one as I've already won her in the contest back then. But a 737 in the fidelity of their 707 is a no brainer for me. Nice work, with the stress on the optics plus atmosphere and no big downsides on the systems. The Black Box 737 is the only new impression I will get from the former PSS folks. So I'm looking for the customer reviews of course.A part of me wonders about the amount of 737s now. A short while back we had nothing and now there's so much. If the niche market can live with the competition, it's fine though. A win for the customers, but I really hope that it's one for all the companies too. :smile:On PSS/BlackBox, I'm a bit more excited about their Airbus rework I must admit.

I must admit given the choice between Captain Sim, Black Box and Mil Viz I will choose Mil Viz. Their T-38 and F-15E are superb - although we had to wait quite a while for the F-15E service pack (granted it grew into much more than a service pack and brought lots of new features).I'm most curious to see how the Black Box 737 turns out. I was a long term customer and fan of PSS, starting with their original 777 for FS2000 I owned each and every one of their products up to the 757 for FS9. However, beginning with the A330/A340 they started to lose the plot I think, and culminated in the release debacles of the 777 and 757 for FS9. I shall be watching very closely to see if they've turned over a new leaf.

I need systems fidelity first. Then comes the VC, then sounds, then the exterior model. That is the order of my priorities. MilViz looks to be taking the VC cake. As for systems fidelity, I'm wondering which will win. Captain Sim historically has "clicky buttons" that don't really matter. Just Flight has been on a "systems lite" kick, and MilViz has produced only light aircraft. This is getting interesting.

I will probably go for the Captain Sim one as well. I have the 707 and 727 from them, very happy with them both.I don't go for the 'exterior only' model from CS as I would prefer to wait for them to finish it first.

I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me

I must confess that I'm suprised that "flight model" is not in your priorities list -- why is that?Just curious. As a (somewhat lapsed) IRL pilot I'm surprised that that would not be near the top of your list. Or maybe you've just given up, like I have on the helicopter modeling in FSX 8^) .cheers,Dave B.

Hi Dave,The FDE is very important to me. I suppose that it not being quite "tangible" tends to make me forget to mention it. Thanks for catching that. I'd put it right up with systems fidelity.

Amazing how true that is. When I found the payware market, the only good payware 737 for FSX was the Wilco 737 PIC(actually, I think Ariane was out, too). Now, fast forward now, and we have PMDG, iFly, Ariane, and now these new three...obviously for the 737 in general, not divided into individual groups.

I think that the MilViz offering will be the best 732 as an overall package. :(...but I will also be buying the Just Flight / PSS (Black Box) 732 today, because I'm a sucker!I won't be buying the Captain Sim 731/732, not for any emotional CS-hating agenda reasons, but simply because I find that right from the Legendary 727 for FS9 right through to their last releases, CS aircraft just don't feel convincing to fly. The FDE just never feels right for me.Of course, MilViz is the total opposite; with FDE on a par with the likes of Rob Young and RealAir. :smile:JF, well, we'll see.

David.
