Captain sim 737-200 Base pack has been released

I won't say that a lack of external control for the Hdg Bug Setter needs a fix, but with my hands and fingers subject to Repetitive Stress Injury, I don't use aircraft that don't have external controller support.I like what I see with the CS 732s but I can't use aircraft that require lots of precise mouse clicking.

"The source of the quote is originally from The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, but is more popularly known from the parody of it which appears in Blazing Saddles."OMG... boy, did that conjure up memories. The first time I ever literally fell on the floor in a theatre laughing was due to this movie. The campfile scene is a classic.

Full array of Bravo, Saitek and GoFlight hardware for the cockpit. Varjo and HP VR headsets for mixed reality.

Did anyone try the CS 757 or CS 767 values from LINDA on the current 737 release? That's custom coded stuff too, but you already can access it via FSUIPC. Maybe it's worth a shot.hdgx.th.jpgOn the independent CDIs and things.

I am almost sure the CDI's are not independent on this one either.
I don't run her so far, so I can't check, but they've later patched that nice feature into the 707, so maybe there's hope.

Hi CoolP,I've no idea what LINDA is, but it looks very interesting. :smile:Off to see if I can find / download it and have a play.

Ok, I've just downloaded LINDA, launched it, configured, and loaded the "Captain Sim 757" profile, then started FSX and loaded the CS 737 ......Assigned a couple of controls to the "Heading Plus / Minus" commands, but no interaction with the CS 737. :sad:The CS 757 profile therefore appears to do nothing in the CS 737, but worth a try....

Ok, at least you've tried. If you have the time, LINDA comes with a tool (LINDA Tracer) that 'listens' to what's going on when you click the VC buttons. This lets you find the offsets and variables being in use for that special feature. You may see a ton of cryptic stuff at first, but it gets clearer once you've followed that small tutorial included. The current LINDA profiles (the ones coming out of the box) were developed like this I think, at least partially. But, no doubt, if one has never looked into the offsets and lua things before, this may come in like rocket science. That's what happened here a while back. :( I'm using LINDA with the 757 and 767.

Cheers, LINDA Tracer sounds good....(although they should have called it 'Linda Tracey' to maintain the female identity of the product :() ;I like exploring tools and applications like this, so will take a look :(

Do we know yet if there will be a model(s) included without the passenger cabin? I hate to throw away framerates or sacrifice other detail or FSX features for 15 minutes of admiring a detailed cabin.

Usually the ACE includes an option for "Flight Deck Only" for those with lower speed rigs.Ron

I hope so. Thanks.I'm not one of those with a lower spec rig, but I don't want sub-twenty framerates in my higher speed rig either, especially for of a feature I have no use for. Those resources will be needed elsewhere.Edit: ah yes, I just had a look at the 757 ACE and see the cabin option. That would be excellent.

Nice to see Captain Sim confounding all the 'armchair critiques' by these rapid and continued improvements by listening to it's customer base.Well done Captain Sim!!!
