I think this might have been asked before but I'm not sure what the answer was and couldn't find what I was looking for so here goes...is there any way to have the FO set the transponder code? I always find it a bit tricky to the the transponder code using the mouse click spots on the center console so would be great if you could have the FO do it for you using a voice command.

Hi, I'm not sure if it's possible, I'll have a look and get back to you. If it is possible we'll add it for SP2.

Damian or Bryan, please be cautious with adding this feature or at least make sure you give us a way to disable it in the FS2Crew Config.Many of us who use Radar Contact, set the RC FO (Otto) to handle ATC and comms freqs, which includes setting the squawk code when directed.Otto is either on or off, which means if we have turn him off to deconflict with FS2Crew squak code duties, we lose his ability to handle ATC comms as well.

Thanks for the heads up :( It'll be a simple voice command like "set squawk xxxx please" so should not interfere.

Have to agree, many people use FS2C as a keyboard substitute, also guilty in some regard but generally I try to use him as I would in the real plane.

Bryan, since a discussion has been started about a SP2, would a female FO be ready for this perhaps? You know, there are many married guys whose wives don't take kindly to directions, I understand that. This could be good therapy for all, where the female FO responds to our commands; not with anger or sarcasm, but with calm, cool headed actions and replies. I think a lot of guys would relish that, and our egos would be restored to our pre-marriage days. :( Seriously, we need her to keep variety in your great product, and changing the gender of the FO will accomplish that. Keep up the great work!
