July 25, 201213 yr Hahaha..It´s all true  . I compared the two sims with my new computer and I was suprised how fluid and beutiful FSX was... of course with a lot of tweaks. So FS9 will now be retired for good...and screenies from FSX will come as soon I´m ready with my iFly mod Awesome news Niclas. This means we could be seeing some NGX paints soon?!?! Al Stiff

July 30, 201213 yr I also have the Flight Link TR-1 Avionics in addition to the Go Flight modules... But I think the Go Flight modules would fit the cockput panetl better since the TR1 is almost a foot deep I am planning on a generic Cocpit with those Flight Illusion analog gauge on the left side and a touch screen monitor to the right running a G1000 MFD (or a 747/737 Pane). With the MCP/EFIS on top. But I am not a handyman nor do I have carpentry skills... So I need to get someone to build the panel for me.. I am still looking for ideas what is the best way to go about. I like what Hasse has done... I want to do something similar but for GA the way I have described.. Analong to the left...then Avionic then a 15" monitor to the right... for displaying G1000 or for an airliner gauges depending on what aircraft I am flying. But the MCP/EFIC on top the way Hasse has it. Manny Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
July 31, 201213 yr http://i.imgur.com/XfmZe.jpg Recently bought a GTX690. I have my old GTX580 for Physx in some of the other games I play (overkill for Physx but I don't know what else to do with it) I play some other games and just wanted to make sure I have the best of the best. It seems to handle FSX just as well as the 580, if not better and also works with ENB mods which my 580 didn't like for some reason. It's a massive improvement in other games, obviously. Changed from an i7 920, to 980, to now a 2600k at 5 ghz over the past 2-3 years now. Next upgrade will probably be a new Mobo. Gigabytes dual bios is lame and causes too many problems when trying to overclock. Also love how this case has space for the 12 fans in it (4 on the rad, 6 on side panel, 1 out the back, one in the front)... has room for 4 more fans as well, but because cable management is getting tough, not going to bother. Temps stay below 70 with the h100 on it) What else should I upgrade!? (Problem of too much money, not enough to spend it on.. or not enough priorities to put it back in my business... lol. Was thinking the Saitek Metal Combat Pedals, paired with the Warthog HOTAS. Using a G940 now, and love it, but want something more authentic. Ideas? Suggestions!?
August 3, 201213 yr At first I read that as "That's a maze!" lol Yeah need to do some better cable management. It's hard with a case as big as it is but its a great system.

Manny Nice setup Manny I get stuck on the 738 damm much work. i almost there with the overhead it 2 anlog instruments to mill. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubLQkF1JgSc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5N7W1FLaO-E&feature=plcp http://dl.dropbox.com/u/54475361/Instrument/instrument2.gif http://dl.dropbox.com/u/54475361/Instrument/instrument1.gif My next project is a GA , and place it behind the 737 sim and youse the computers that run 737 and swap monitors (outside wievs) . Not decided what type C182, F1 Mustang, the Duke, C182 its easy to build a mip for, and a prefer G1000. Kind Regards Hasse http://
August 9, 201213 yr Was thinking the Saitek Metal Combat Pedals, paired with the Warthog HOTAS. Using a G940 now, and love it, but want something more authentic. Ideas? Suggestions!? I've got the combat pedals - they are much better than CH or the basic saitek black pedals. The two major issues - toe brakes are too easy to depress compared with real life and their range of travel is greater than real life toe brakes (at least in smaller planes). Still I think they are best for the price. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
August 11, 201213 yr Hi Here is my new FSX PC. The hardware is the same as before. As a say a was planning a SS for 24/7 . After a lot of search a find a used Lian Li V2000 thats what a want , the Mobo is uppside down , very good for a SS . Then after tuning it hold -31c on load 1.55v, its was much milling for the Socket holder. I fire it up today its work perfect no problem with condensating after 10 hour running. Kind Regards Hasse http://
