May 17, 201214 yr Who makes the best Jets, Im looking for F-18, F-35, or anything else close to those that is very well buily. Great VC's. Jerad Burns
May 17, 201214 yr Most people will recommend the VRS F/A-18 Superhornet, but there are also some other good ones out there too. The Lotus Aero L-39 Albatros, the Aerosoft F-16 Fighting Falcon, the MILVIZ and IRIS F-15E Eagles, the Bear Studios Chengdu J-10 Vigorous Dragon are all worth a look. IRIS actually do quite a few good military aircraft, as do MILVIZ, some of which can be flown dual over a network when they are two seaters, which is a lot of fun. Just Flight are making a General Dynamics F-111 Aardvark, and I'm hoping they'll consider doing the Raven ECM variant. A2A have an Accusim Lockheed F-104 Starfighter on the way, and a McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom. Addictive were supposedly doing a Panavia Tornado, but it's all gone a bit quiet from them and I don't know if they still plan to. Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

May 17, 201214 yr Hands down the best of all is the VRS F-18... But like like the others said above you can easily find more good stuff at Lotussim, Iris, Milviz, ... Best regards, Fritz ESSONO
May 17, 201214 yr Author thanks guys i just got the VRS F-18 cause most of you are recommending it and im liking it alot! Im guessing theres no F35s built yet though? Jerad Burns
May 17, 201214 yr Not anything really complex, but if you were wanting something along the lines of the F-35B, there is however a Wilco AV8 Harrier which is very good indeed. Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

May 18, 201214 yr Hello probably the most systems in a freeware Jet http://migsim.ic.cz/emefka.html Startup sequence Basic flying
May 19, 201214 yr Not available todate yet, but keep an eye out for: - The SimSkunkWorks AV8B Harrier; announced release date: May 27th - Dino Cataneo's F35 A/B/C package; going into beta-test end-of-may. In the category of VTOL / STOVL -capable military aircraft, these will be the best addons available this summer. IMHO. That said: "Best", or "Most realistic" are very relative terms. Not only in time (what was the "best" one year ago, will probably not be todate or tomorrow) but also in features one is interrested in. Like (for one type of aircraft): - The one with the most available liveries - The one with the most complex and realistics systems - The one with the most realistic Virtual Cockpit. - The one with the most realistic and detailed visual model and textures. - The one with best framerate... - The one with the most realistic flightmodel. - Price - Etc... - And combinations of it. I.o.w.: the question of "most realistic" is kind of impossible to answer objectively. Not only because any answer is outdated soon, but also depending on what YOU find important in an aircraft addon. Even within the category "military jets" Regards, Rob PS: forgot to mention the SSW F-104 "Starfighter" :) But, again, only relevant if you interrested in this type of "ancient" aircraft... The VRS F-18 is a great addon, but statements like: "Hands down the best of all is the VRS F-18..." are meaningless without qualifying/quantifying why, and weighing all aspects of an addon; for any addon available in the Military Jet category. Again, IMHO, and with all due respect for the poster I quoted. And I'm not even mentioning: how does one judge "Realistic" ?? At least 99.99 % of all posters replying to posts like these (including ME) are not real-life pilots on said military aircraft. So what is an opinion (including MINE) on "realism" really worth ??? I hope I've made my point :)
May 19, 201214 yr Author What about an F-22 and an F-17. Does anyone know of any decent ones? Jerad Burns
May 19, 201214 yr There are no realistic F-22s, I can say that for certainty :P The F-17 was never put into production, however, a derivative (the F-18) was put into production. I believe that the VRS Superbug is the most realistic F-18 in regards to systems and probably graphics as well Johan Pettersen
