Its AHHMAZING!!! Smoothest flight experience yet! Great loading transitions with the weather. The clounds look amazing and better yet, my system doesnt get bogged down going through heavy clounds and rain! Makes the CAT III approaches so fun and keeps me on my toes!!

And the fact that is is free to REX users?!? All i can say is THANK YOU. And thank you for the diligent work!

Cheers,

Aaron

Good question only you can decide what to do :) just check out the photos that are coming out now and compare them with active sky than decide is it worth the change

I am pretty decided that rex is the way to go on textures, its just if the weather engine can compare, the active sky engine is fantastic

Yeap. That's what you need to do. If you are downloading the full essential download, you must uninstall rex2.0 aswell.

Cameron Lett :)

Quite interested. Also quite looking forward to reading a AS2012 vs Essentials review :)

And me. I would really like to hear from someone who uninstalled REX.

Paul Smith.

I agree... I've only been using Essential for 1hr and I'm already impressed. More testing to go but how its looking from realistic processing of weather interpolations, cloud decks that create full overcast conditions ( got that today over TS Beryl for a far as I could see, I'm convinced that the days of ASE on my system are numbered.
