RealAir Lancair Legacy ('enhanced') checklist on one A4

Featured Replies

Ah, yes, I thought of this because the RealAir checklist shows FUEL BOOST PUMP 'off' in the end, but that's probably just for a check. I also seem to remember some planes or pilots do use the pump during take offs and landings, but probably not needed in this plane.

Yeah...some do. This one sounds like fingernails on a chalkboard and, if it were me, I'd prefer if I didn't *have* to listen to it just then. LOL.

Oh, nice. This will be helpful in the near future, I'm sure. ^_^

Believe me, you won't keep the Lancair pump running unless you really need it....

LOL Very true...

Here is the latest and as far as I am concerned definitive version. I will also post it in the Legacy club. I edited as I said I would, left the FUEL BOOST PUMP in because it's there as a check and I also added LIGHTS 'off'.

That looks pretty much perfect.

Great! Thanks for the help!

Thanks for putting the effort into the checklist - love it!

Somebody requested a portrait version of Jeroen's RealAir Lancair Legacy checklist. It's attached to this post. All credits to Jeroen; thank you sir!

Nice! Thanks!

Yes, I somehow like my checklists in landscape format... don't know why really.

I have a list of all FSX keyboard commands in Landscape, too. For me it really doesn't matter. It's currently very quiet at the job and I needed something else to do instead of surfing the web.

You can add the portrait version to your own post and I'll remove it from mine. Don't want any credits for work you've done.

Thanks very much for this excellent checksheet. This is a great airplane, and this checklist helps a great deal.

Nice, Jeroen. You rock (again)

Jose..I think (someone jump in here; I don't have it) Accu-Feel simulates both the noise and the effect on drag that opening a door would do (as FLIGHT did) And all the good payware has opening doors..The Legacy has an opening canopy..Not tried to open it in flight yet..I really don't know why you'd do it anyway, but then you do some crazy stuff already  You fly planes without engines!

I suppose opening a door mid-flight is pretty routine to you

You should try leaving the canopy open on takeoff... it's pretty amazing what RA modeled...

I have actually shut off accu-feel for the legacy. I'm not really sure what effect it has on the existing physics and sound effects provided by Realair, so I thought better safe than sorry......

Thanks Jeroen, great work glad to see you back into fsx.

A4 a bit small at my age

I got this aircraft last night so did an iPad version of your work for anyone wanting it.
