There has been so much talk, but no official statement, but as we wait for the ER expansion, will we get fictional paints [british Airways etc] on the LR

I dont think so, there is no reason for that as 3rd party liveries will be available within few hours from release.

And what do YOU think? When was the last time PMDG did fictional stuff (well except for the pogostick and (censored) in the (censored) compartment in the NGX (don't want to spoil the fun for the guys that still haven't found them). Don't worry, there will be a paintkit and you will get what you are looking for...

Well they put BA on the NGX, I don't see why not for the LR. The only differences between the LR and ER that BA have, visually at least are all on the wing.

They put BA Virtual on NGX, maybe they will do the same for LR, there is some connection between BA Virtual and PMDG obviously .

If the repainters take to the 777X the same way they have taken to the NGX I don't think liveries will be a problem, whether or not PMDG do them officially.

I for one would really appreciate a United and American Airlines LR!

I hope not. I hate going on VATSPY to see which VATSIM controllers are online, and finding a guy flying a Boeing 737 with an Air Canada callsign going from Little Rock, Arkansas to Dallas-Ft. Worth. I can't stand it.

I understand it's an issue for you, but everyone sims differently. Hopefully it won't bother you too much as you fly your new 777!

Its my understanding that not too many airlines have this version ( correct me if im wrong) so fictional would make sense for those who like to fly in their favorite liveries. I'm trying to learn painting so I can hopefully contribute if there is a livery void.

Cory,

Man, you have to agree though, this is annoying as %$@! when flying on VATSIM: http://vataware.com/...cfm?id=10210637

Yes, I understand everyone sims differently, but if you are going to fly on the Virtual Air Traffic Simulation Network then it's better if you fly like in the real world.

We're probably not going to do fictionals. We made an exception for BA Virtual with the NGX because a number of their members are very long-time beta testers for us - that's the only one we did though.

Well Ryan, I think I speak on behalf of MANY people in the community, kindly asking that you do a BA one for the 77L. It would be massively appreciated! I know so many people that want the 777 just to fly under the BAW Callsign. I believe BAV said they're allowing people to fly with the PMDG 77L once released.

Just wait for the -200ER expansion... It will probably be pretty soon after the LR is released.
