September 26, 201213 yr I have already saw it, must say it's totally disappointing. At some point Mythbusters ask if in a situation where pilots are unable to fly the aircraft it could be landed by a passenger, instructor says: "There is no need, we would do it from ground". #####??!!
September 26, 201213 yr For those in the UK interested in seeing it, it looks like the same programme is being played on Discovery at 8:00am UK time on Saturday 29th September.
September 26, 201213 yr Interesting, Adam crashed in a field after a massive stall and Jamie crashed at the airport but at least he found the airport. Entertaining. Chris Magnus HR Manager Air Jamaica Virtual Airlines and Cargo (http://www.airjamaicavirtualairlinesandcargo.org)
September 26, 201213 yr It's been repeated "so many" times I've lost count. Super VC10 into LOWI with PF3 at a cinema near you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=298UDyNmgUA
September 26, 201213 yr Flight attendant Karen Black in 'Airport' was out of comms but could still fly a 747 through the mountains.. George Kennedy- "She's flying it herself!" Charlton Heston- "Climb baby, climb!"
September 27, 201213 yr I liked that episode. Well it made me laugh anyways. Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me
September 27, 201213 yr Anybody notice that the flaps are down while it's climbing desperately over the mountain? (see @4:05 on)
September 27, 201213 yr Moderator Yes, I was just going to comment on the flaps position. How stupid! Also, why was the a/c banking left to steer directly towards the highest peak instead of banking right to steer into the valley? Fr.
