November 28, 201213 yr Even after beeing allowed back in I felt distinctlly uncomfortable being there and didn't linger or look at anything else appart from my post. I don't know, maybe thats unreasonable, its just how I feel. Hopefully I wont have to go there again When I 1st came here I had no idea there were so many dissgruntled people here and so many negative comments about how they go about things but I do understand. Cheers Robert Now you know why most of us don't even bother visiting the orbx forum. I use to frequent it but got tired of their attitude towards others. Stick around here, its more friendly. November 29, 201213 yr In AVSIM forums people speak there mind/opinions but like all "opinions" people agree or disagree with them, then out comes the popcorn. Personally I am glad we have the AVSIM forums to air our opinions when we feel the need to. Orbx forums are as Alain has always pointed out "there forums, there rules" a friendly place to chill. November 29, 201213 yr Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I have had FSX for about 2 months and in that time I have bought 7 different areas from them...yes I was that impressed When I've had a Q or 2 I have always been courteous and to the point. Never insulted anyone Never argued with anyone Never dissparaged their products..in fact the opposite, I have always praised the quality. The 1st 6 installs went without a hitch. Number 7 was problamatical..I bought NRM and had issues with terrain elevation adjustments and asked for advice. A gentleman named Tim tried hard , several suggestions, even sent me replacement files NOTHING worked. In the end I was asked to post screenshots and directed to a tutorial. That did not work either , so I requested alternative advice. And that was the last time I've been able to log onto their site. Everytime I go there now I get the cheery message ... SORRY you do not have permission for this YOU ARE NOT allowed to visit this Community Now this has me completely non plused. My only crime (as I know..note the above comments) was to report back that the last suggestion did not work and asked for more advice. What have I done ??? I sent a request to the administrator for instructions ..one of the replies on their list is that Spammers are not welcome (I have no idea what that is) Another reply was that If you have been banned from this site you will not receive an answer. So far no reply ?? so I guess I may have been banned for a reason not apparent to me..appart from possibly that they can't resolve my problem and don't want to hear from me again. Has anybody had a similar experience ?? or can offer insights as to what may have happened. I requested another password in case the original had been corrupted and the bot gave me one. So I logged in again .. same SORRY you do not have permission for this YOU ARE NOT allowed to visit this Community Anyone insights anyone Rob Rob, I had the same problem. I asked a question about a product and was asked to put my order number next to my signauture before they could reply. I took it a step further and put all my order numbers under my signature for future reference, and soon after I got that message. I thought I annoyed someone at ORBX, but I did it without any intention of disrespect, sarcasm or malice. I mailed support a couple of times to ask why I was getting that message, and they never got back to me. I recently ordered UK to add to my NA, AU, AZ collections. I decided to create a brand new ORBX account, which is working fine, but still no answer to my original question. I love their products, but I'm not sure what's going on with their support forum.
