January 3, 201313 yr no it does not it is supposed to be ctrl+w but it does not work Benjamin Robert Wang
January 3, 201313 yr It only does STOL as far as I know. If you're in the air and you select STOL, the plane is able to hover. Fulcrum One Yoke / FSProjects Airbus Side Stick, Honeycomb Bravo, Slaw Device RX Viper V2 Intel Core Ultra 9 285K, PNY RTX 5080, 48GB RAM

January 3, 201313 yr Indeed it definitely works, took it up for a spin last night. Make sure to read page 21 of the .pdf manual, you will see how you can get it to full hover and how to control the movement of the aircraft in that hover. From the manual: Regards,Kyle
January 3, 201313 yr And doesn't it only work with fsx acceleration. Correct me if im wrong Darrian Woodard

January 18, 201313 yr I'm also having trouble getting the F-35B to hover. I made sure that my weight is under the limit and I am even able to get the nozzles to point down (ctrl + H) to hover, but instead of hovering, the F-35 moves forward instead of up. I've looked all over and I seem to be the only person experiencing this problem. Does anyone have any idea what's wrong?
January 18, 201313 yr And you're getting the module to load (should be a red scrolling message or maybe green when you load the plane for the first time) | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

What is your target groundspeed set to? Assign a key to "aileron trim (center)" to set groundspeed to 0. Chuck Biggins
January 19, 201313 yr There are a few steps to get the plane to hover, but it WILL work. Firstly, you have to remember this plane is STOVL (Short Take Off Vertical Land). Like others mentioned, it only works if you are within the weight limits which are relatively low. What this means is that the USMC would use short take off to get off the ship, and then after the mission they would weigh a lot less, so they could land vertically. When you do VTOL, you must lower the weight of the plane, the easiest is fuel, as it always loads you full of it. I usually use 25% on everything. After you do this, press the HOOK/STOVL button on the left. You will then notice that the word HOVER is now blue, not red. Press that button, then your nozzles will rotate. Pull back on the stick to climb, push forward to decend.
