happy new year JComm! Get both  A lot of people will say the Aerosoft but I bought it when it was released and still haven't flown it due to "stuck throttle"......i'm too lazy to tweak and reinstall and have been on xp10 and dcs so far in 2013.

Oops! I was discovered :-) Thx FlashIsisMayia :-) A superb 2013 for you too ;-)

Save your money and wait for the FSLabs A320 :)

I REALLY like the Aerosoft Airbus X Extended but I would recommend that you wait for the FSLabs Bus so you can have more choices.

Yeah save the money. Right now you can't fly Aerosoft and BBS is half way through...

I do not own BBS but I do own ABX.

It is no NGX and nor is it trying to be.

The throttles work fine for me with a couple simple lines added to FSUIPC.

Would be nice if you could elaborate a bit......

Thanks.

BBS all the way.... FBW is the best at the moment, system are half way but what's available works (VNAV, LNAV...)

too much, too soon....

I have both products. The AXE is nice to look at, but personally I don't get that fuzzy feeling when flying it. In autoflight modes it feels somewhat crude. Especially noticable when changing altitude. I.e. cruise to climb or descent.

Any bugs with the AXE will probably be fixed by the developers. However, as of now I find myself not having trust in what the plane does is correct. Simply find it unpredictable.

The BBS, while not even being finished, is smoother in autoflight and also handles really nice when flown manually.

I think the BBS is going to be the Airbus simulator you'd want for deep systems simulation - along with the FSL one, of course.

Hi jcomm...

You are asking for a lot of detail...see the thread on the Aerosoft A320 in this forum. 26 pages so far - and take particular notice of how aerosoft respond to posters - they are responding very well.

I consider that the Aerosoft A320 is amongst the best so far. I have the NGX, which I also enjoy. I really wanted the 'bus - and I'm very happy with it.

I'm having a few problems with it - it's a steep learning curve ....but I'm confident that Aerosoft will sort it. I'm glad I bought it. Once the 360 degree turns on approach is sorted, and I've sorted out my view options to imitate the NGX I'll be happy. I've had no problems with the throttles at all.

IMO it is well worth the cash - and I would recommend it to all. Just be patient. It is a very complex aircraft, and 'different'. I am also very impressed at the frame rates I'm getting with such a complicated aircraft. Well done Aerosoft.

I'm also anxious to buy the FSLabs aircraft. I'll be very happy with both.

Regards

Bill

Hi,

at this moment (version 1.02c) the AXE is hardly flyable to me, so I suggest you to save your money. However on the 10th of January, Aerosoft stated they'll release a new hotfix, so let's see.

I have read many positive comments about BBS Airbus, but I'm still reluctant to buy a product which is a beta version

Have a good day

Giorgio

I don't know why some are finding it "unflyable". I have had no problems with its "flyability" - no throttle issues (setup through FSX, not FSUIPC). Aspects of the autoflight system are a little "rough", as well as the 360 deg turn thing which seems to happen in LOC mode. I too am confident that Aerosoft will sort the problems out. Too many people seem to expect this to be an NGX, which it never claimed to be.

I like it, I'm glad I bought it and I'll keep flying it. I have BBS also, and will buy the FSL one when it comes out if I'm not too old by then.

I have the Aerosoft Airbus X Extended and have done few flights. The plane is eye candy inside and out but I find the plane stiff to fly rather than PMDG 737. I have done manual and AP flights. In manual flight I have to move my joystick almost to maximum to turn and the AP throttle is stiff.

I flew the Airbus one time and the wind changes a bit so I got over speed and the plane went all most straight up I got +6000fpm and then -5000fpm I used FSPassengers and the passengers satisfaction was 0% and I got very angry.

I have now experience of Black Box Simulation and I am waiting for FSLabs A320. But this is my story of the Airbus A320 from Aerosoft and I hope they will fix those small bugs because I like the plane.
