February 15, 201313 yr Here are just some random shots of the new MSE updated Massachusetts 2.1..... Connecticut on the left and Massachusetts on the right. Here are the borders of MSE Vermont and in the distance MSE New Hampshire, Another shot of the border between Massachusetts and New Hampshire. A top down view from central Massachusetts. A shot flying over Quabbin Reservoir which is one of two reservoirs that provide water supply for Boston, Westover Metropolitan Airport near Holyoke. Over Downtown Boston. Another shot of Boston. Random shot. I just wanted to share so those whom might be interested in getting the product can get some alternate shots than from the online store....I will be posting more states as I can and try to show how the borders line up with each other.
February 15, 201313 yr Yeah, I've become addicted to these photoreal sceneries for the US. I just downloaded Florida. Now I want to tweak the autogen with relation to third party airport/city sceneries. I used to live in Mass. back in the late '50s (I was a small child). Dad was in the USAF. February 15, 201313 yr That looks awesome! That reservoir water colour looks a big greenish and off? Why?
February 16, 201313 yr The airport and reservoir blend in well in the fifth and sixth images, respectively. My favorite is the last one, for its combination of roads, trees, and water.
February 16, 201313 yr That does look pretty neat. I wonder how each state blends with non-MSE scenery? Say if I bought MSE Texas and did a VFR flight to regular 'ol plain jane non-MSE Oklahoma, what would the state line look like from up above? Chris Sunseri
February 16, 201313 yr Wish I could get those via email I was given a free upgrade yet the links are undownloadable pitty There is an email link to their support email: it was returned by the mailer as undeliverable... another pitty, about all I get from them lately
February 16, 201313 yr Commercial Member Nice screenshots. The Mass 2.1 update offers a lot better imagery for sure. That does look pretty neat. I wonder how each state blends with non-MSE scenery? Say if I bought MSE Texas and did a VFR flight to regular 'ol plain jane non-MSE Oklahoma, what would the state line look like from up above? You would see a very distinct line for sure. There is no blending of the state edges with default scenery... Would be pretty difficult to blend photoreal tiles which are all unique with the repeated default texture tiles, so yes it will be very noticeable... but at the same time, it would also highlight just how different and real the MSE package textures are compared to default scenery Wish I could get those via email I was given a free upgrade yet the links are undownloadable pitty There is an email link to their support email: it was returned by the mailer as undeliverable... another pitty, about all I get from them lately Peppy, please send me a private message via these forums and I will try and help you out so you can get the updates you need. February 16, 201313 yr Like several others I have recently become a convert to MSE. Good looking and informative shots. In the 2nd shot, is that a wind farm we're seeing?? Dan George (woodhick)Check out Greenbrier Aero Club, the VA for and about the GA pilot.
February 16, 201313 yr I have been using several states of MegaSceneryEarth (v1) including Florida where I live. Yesterday I ordered MSE v2 Florida. I'll report back once it is installed as to the difference between the two. I'm very much looking forward to it. On another note, I just upgraded GEX North America to v1.099 and in my non-photoreal areas, it is truly awesome. A very worthy upgrade to anyone on the fence. Always remember to Find Your FUN! -Bob

February 16, 201313 yr I too just got Georgia and Florida. Just installed and can't wait to fly Florida, as Georgia is nice indeed. I may after looking at your photos have to work my way up the coast. A long time ago I used to live in Onset Beach, Cape Cod. William Sequeira
