A small sample. I am surprised that Android is running better than 2 to 1 over the Apple. I use Android and it makes me a bit crazy that all the good apps for FSX are designed for the Apple only.

For me both. Because I have both. Why? Because I want to. I also use both FS9 and FSX because I enjoy both. I just like being happy generally

We always have the Apple/Android debate at work which usually turns into a heated debate!

Whatever floats your boat I suppose!

I voted both because I have both, but I prefer the Android tablet.

I voted Apple, since that's my preference due to UI consistency & battery life, but upon further reflection I guess cross platform development is probably best in order to give everyone options.

Tablets can be amazing to integrate into a simpit; I've been using the RemoteFlight apps for quite some time and really enjoy them. I also use a generic keyboard emulator with custom buttons to replicate switches and things. I only wish that the resale value on used iPads wasn't so high; I'd have more than one for my simpit if they were cheaper to buy secondhand.

OK, I'm going to bump this just this once to try and get a bigger sample. Actually I'm a little disappointed in the number of people participating :(. Interesting result so far  though with a 2:1 ratio for Android.  B)   Or maybe most Apple users don't feel the need to participate since they have so many apps already  .  In any case, thanks to all who took the time to vote and post :drinks:

Android 100%.

Android here. I love to tinker, and currently use a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (10.1").

Android 100%.

I have a Galaxy S3 and I love it.

I can't stand Apple, I hate no company more than them.

Their products are from very good quality, there is not a doubt about that. But are they any better than Android? Not at all. But still, their products are 50% more expensive. That makes me puzzled why some people keep buying Apple.

My sister for example, I told her a thousand times that Android would do the same (if not more) than Apple for only 2/3 of the price. But still, she got an iPhone 5, and there isn't one thing her phone can do that my phone can't.

My dad, he wanted a MacBook because he thought Windows laptops were slower. He payed $1500, while he could have gotten something better for half the price and put an SSD in it which would make it even faster than a MacBook.

Ever noticed that Apple products are mostly bought by laymans, and that most computer educated people do not like Apple? There's a reason for that. People who buy Apple have mostly not gone into research of what other brands have to offer for a lower price.

If you would have asked this question back in 2007, I would have said: yes, go for Apple, because they were by far the market leader back then. But now, not anymore. Brands like Samsung, HTC, Sony, and LG are slowly taking over the market because their products offer equal quality for a lower price, and more and more people are starting to realise that.
Currently, the percentage of Apple products are dropping and dropping. A few years ago, 50% of the smartphones were Apple, now that's gone to only 15%. The biggest reason for that, as I said few times, the lower price of other brands. Secondly, some people - like myself - can't stand the fact Apple takes everybody to court and prefers to be alone on the market. Many classmates of mine, have decided not to support Apple anymore just because of that.

Last, Apple are not as innovative anymore as they used to be.

Go for Android. Lower price, same (if not more) features.

Good luck!
