Being an Android user I sometimes feel slighted when I see lots of apps for Apple users being developed for FSX and only a few for us lowly Android users. I realize that developers must go in the direction that will maximize their investment, but sometimes wonder if there are in fact MORE of us than they realize. So here's a chance for us to be heard on both sides and lets see what it shows. I hope this works, the preview doesn't show the Poll I created........Oh well, here goes....

EDIT: Just want to add "This is NOT ABOUT which one is a "better" system!!!

Yup. Android 100% here too...

When you are first to market (iPad) you typically get the most apps...

Android is playing catch-up.

I voted both, simply because it's not a race to see who wins. Everyone should be able use more and better FSX tablet/smart phone apps. BTW, I'm also an android user.

I went the other way; I voted for neither, because I use FS 9 exclusively.

But I'm an Android fan, and regularly use my Toshiba Thrive when I'm flying. I have most of my plates on a memory card I can stick into the tablet, and I have SkyVector up to follow along.

Thanks for participating and YES, THIS IS NOT A RACE OR ABOUT WHICH IS BETTER, is just a simple question about which you OWN and use for FSX apps.

I voted both as I have and use both. Android smartphone (because for my use it remains the more versatile, flexible choice) and iPad tablet because of the hi-res display and larger number of true tablet apps. I have and use aviation apps on both devices and hope to see continued development on both platforms.

Apple makes nice stuff, but price and the cut they like to take from 3rd parties is bordering on criminal in my book. Lets face it where would Apple/Microsoft be without 3rd parties.

Android, because better features and not overpriced.

Android.... So much easier to do what I want rather than having to do things in the way Apple dictates. ...

I wouldn't mind having Android but I bought an iTouch a few years back... just stuck with it. Now I've got iPhone 5 and love it. My wife has IP4s. Apple makes a quality product but you do pay for it. I agree Android has a better bang for the buck.
