It is difficult to find things on Facebook if you aren't logged in/don't have an account. That is where it comes from. Not impossible, mind you, just difficult.

I don't think that's very hard. (it's also what my signature image links to)

I know you won't believe this but before we had a Facebook page we requests every day to make one - now that we do and use it, people say we shouldn't have one.

It really dosn't matter if you put straight on the forum or Facebook...if Facebook, it will be posted here on the forum within minutes anyway by the first person that saw it on Facebook....

Dear Ryan,

I am not Chinese but i live in China.

China is such country that every social media are banned and access fully is denied.

When i say that i do not have access to facebook it is not because i do not like it, or i am too lazy to look at, i really have no access.

Same situation is with YouTube and many others.

That is why i am asking friendly guys here to post images at forum, because this forum is not blocked by chinese officials - yet :),  and this forum is only source of PMDG news for me.

I do hope that now u understand my point.

You get it wrong. There are always the people who like something and/or use something and then, there are people who do not like something.

I bet there are people who would like to see you guys on Twitter. I personally hate Twitter. So if you get a Twitter account now, i would still hate it and you would assume that I liked it before? I remember at least one post where Robert said, pictures will always be uploaded in the forum first. So there is no problem, you guys can maintain your Facebook/Twitter/... account but the primary platform should be this forum and no external source. That would also prevent multiple "new screenshot"-threads. I am visiting this forum every day. I dont like to visit each developers facebook page, too. I will never link any company/developer/.. to my facebook account and therefor, i would have to put it into favorites or something (because i dont get instant news on my wall or whatever that area is called). Thats something I dont like to do. Why dont you upload new pictures on all platforms at the same time?

After the bickering that has been displayed here lately on two different but more or less same themed threads, and given that this is PMDG's Forum, is it hardly any surprise why they choose to post images at FB? Come on, let's get real. Who owns this developement? Us or them? So, it stands to reason that they can do what they want with it. Release images or not, release the product when they feel right and not because we are baying for it. At the end of the day, whether we have to wait 6 days or 6 more months, we will all be tripping over ourselves to buy it.

Yea, it's extremely hard to open Google and search for PMDG + facebook.

Nobody noticed the message in the lower ECIAS "RLS DATE MSG LOAD FAIL" made me smile!

Well, I think its not hard to google PMDG and Facebook but does that mean, all future development will be announced at Facebook first, including images? Because then, I do not have to check the forum anymore.

^One thing is certain: release will be at pmdg official site, so both facebook page and forum are useless.

Lets be honest, informations flow is so fast today that delay between forums and facebook is almost nonexistent. Everything they post on facebook will be copied to forums in seconds by a first guy spot the change.

I think the detailed descriptive announcements that Rob gives about a product and its development will be uploaded onto the forums. Facebook is a good source for showing off the latest screenshot and quick announcements, but the PMDG Forums aren't here just to gain dust...

Im sure with-in the next few hours/days or next week, we will hear something about the release of the almighty T7 here on the forums.
