April 15, 201313 yr I'm not a scenery fan so FSX's obvious superiority in this area is not important to me personally. My thing is panels and FDE, and I can't imagine getting away from FS2004, which is the Golden Age of FS as far as I'm concerned.
April 15, 201313 yr I wish the guys over at Black Box could do a little upgrading to the 777, not a lot just a little bit, or udate it to be ported over to FSX until PMDG releases theirs. I had to start back flying PSS because I wanted a decent 777,the POSKY merge is great but I like being able to use every switch in my V/C especially my ECIAS. Thanks, O. Skinner

I'm in occasional touch with him. He kept me updated on the defections of the Libyan Air Force fighter guys to Malta two years ago. (He lives there.) I've got the reissue of Graham's Concorde for FS2004, I just haven't gotten around to installing it -- because I'm so deeply in love with my custom 727-223 ADV.

I guess it's just the other way round: With the PMDG 777 close to release, no one bothers with a PSS 777 portover to FSX. It hasn't happened for years, so why now? But an update/-grade to the FS9 version would be great! What happened to AVSIM
April 15, 201313 yr While the T7 PSS panel is a work of art - the actual model leaves something to be desired... Fortunately there is a decent merge with the POSKY T7 that was done by the guys at Singapore Virtual... I've flown it a bunch and like it a great deal... Probably the best we can do for a T7 in FS9... Regard, Scott But the virtual cockpit on that merge you can't click?
April 15, 201313 yr DF727 - arguably the best FS9 addon ever, or at least equal to the best Cheers Ian I share your love for that aircraft but I've been too lazy to figure out a working FMC solution so I can use it on VATSIM. Do you have any suggestion? I'm too slow for the CIVA INS solution! The controllers would have to create a 200 nm saftety buffer around me if I was to try a flying a STAR! Anyway, I love flying FSX low and slow and FS9 high and fast. But no way I would plan a VATSIM flight longer than 1 h in FSX - PMDG 737NGX or not - it just ends in tears and frustration. (Still I'll be standing their in line with my credit card out when the T7 is released! ) Krister LindénEFMA, Finland------------------

I've used both the CIVA and the ISGsim FMC - while it was fun to tinker with the CIVA - I found I flew the 727 a whole lot more with the ISGsim installed... I chose the Honeywell model because I had found a pix on airliners.net of a 727 with one installed... I think "Meatwater" has a file in the lib for that mod if you don't feel like tinkering with panel mods yourself... And in my opinion it is one of the finest aircraft ever made for MSFS... Regards, Scott

The best way round loading waypoints into CIVA is to use the card reader. You get 9 wypts at one go! Super VC10 into LOWI with PF3 at a cinema near you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=298UDyNmgUA

Regards, Scott alraiti - time tobring ISG out of the basement and it seems Navdatapro from Aerosoft supports it too. Vololiberista, from I've read in the manual I get the feeling it's still a bit of a handful for a single pilot cockpit, especially with the extra pressure flying online. Perhaps I should give it a try - I feel I sort of owe it to people who gives us this kind of stuff and dedication for free! Krister LindénEFMA, Finland------------------

I don't have it but I think on the ISG website there is an example of the DF727 upgraded Ian

For the VC10 one has to do that. But, using ADEU card reader really is quick. Your wypts are already set up in advance and as you get to the last one you load the next group. It takes seconds! April 16, 201313 yr Speaking of Trisauria, what's the best 727 for VC only flying in FS9? In FSX, I've got Tom Ruth's rendition, but in FS9 I didn't find any (seemingly) suitable 727s so far. 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days
April 17, 201313 yr Here's an airliner coming for FS9: I don't see it in the AVSIM library yet, but there is a WIP package for download at flightsimaeroproyecto_ssj100.zip More info at Venesim.com There is also a very nicely modelled 787 in the offing. It's one of the few that captures the very complex shapes of this airliner. Be great if this very solid foundation can be developed fully.

There's also a Superjet 100 being developed on the Russian Avsim.
April 17, 201313 yr Here's an airliner coming for FS9: Hi WingZ, have you already tested the Sukhoi? If yes, could you please give us a short report and/or rating? Thanks and regards Harald P.S.
