April 10, 201313 yr you know sth i believe that we dont have to ask them all the time but they could keep in contact with us and giving us a little information about sth good for the product! One would think it's easy to put up a couple of screen shots or type a few paragraphs, but one small flaw in the graphics, or one mis worded piece of information sets of a storm. From what I've seen, each little bit of information they release generates hundreds of comments, suggestions, and questions (and complaining). I think it's safe to assume, they just don't have the time for that right now. And if the questions aren't answered, it generates more complaints. Best we just patiently wait and don't get mad at them. We are all bursting with anticipation and I think complaints will only alienate these guys when most of us are pretty darned pleased with everything they do. Bob Donovan - KBOS
April 11, 201313 yr I, like everyone here cannot wait for this,......but........we have to. I've been PMDG'ing now for a number of years and own all their aircraft apart from the MD-11. I would have liked to have had a couple of pics or info posted up for us during the last 3-4 weeks. After all we do support the brand "PMDG" with our hard earned. Hirdy
April 11, 201313 yr I just got done flying the CS 777 and I have no idea what was wrong but when I enaged the auto pilot the plane just started rolling left and right for no reason. ATP MEL,CFI,CFII,MEI. Type Ratings B-737, ERJ-190,ERJ-170
April 11, 201313 yr One would think it's easy to put up a couple of screen shots or type a few paragraphs. Ironically, the night the update was posted last month - I actually saw Rob was positing in the forum. That was around 1830 local - I went away, had dinner and watched a few Youtube videos and he was still writing it nearly two hours later! That just proved to me that it's a lenthy process, I imagine two or so hours is a fair bit of time missed during testing or his free time that could have been spent with family etc. - Luke Pabari
April 11, 201313 yr Let's be honest, you're all going to buy the T7 regardless of how many updates they give out. Dev Singh
April 11, 201313 yr I caught myself saying "they are too busy" and speaking on behalf of PMDG - which annoys me. Who knows - maybe the plane is done and ready to go, but they're all having too much fun playing Black Ops II and ordering pizza to be bothered with releasing the product. Still - that's their prerogative. Bob Donovan - KBOS

April 12, 201313 yr Let's be honest, you're all going to buy the T7 regardless of how many updates they give out. Exactly! Ryan said they sometimes note the peoples names down who say they won't buy it to find they do pretty much straight away  - Luke Pabari
April 12, 201313 yr I gave up on checking for updates on a regular basis. As far as the 757 goes, I check every 3 months - On Jan 1, 2013 I posted "Anything New?" I got a dopey reply. Checked inMarch - no new posts/updates since 2010. That along with the 777's long wait, left me disenchanted with the whole flight sim experience. Now it's Spring time in NY and I'll start my outdoor hobbies like golf, car racing, time at the beach etc. We hit 80 degrees today in Long Island. I played 18 holes at Bethpage. The 777 is the last thing on my mind. I hope the 777 comes out in Dec of 2013 so I won't have to waste perfect weather sitting at home flying on my PC. I wonder if anyone else north of N40 degrees parallel feels the same. I know I'm going to catch some flak for this, but what the hell, it's not like I have any power over PMDG or anything. I have barely used FSX at all this year (only 1 complete flight in the NGX in February!), as I have experienced major burnout! But I'm still excited about the T7 and still check these forums occasionally, but part of me doesn't really care about the release date. And I'm concerned that if it is released soon, I will have no appetite to fly her, and that feeling of missing out on release excitement will gnaw at me. I don't know how to describe it, I feel sad that I'm not simming even though nothing is stopping me from clicking on the FSX icon, but lately, having flown so many strictly regimented, carefully prepared flights, simming started to feel like a chore. Almost like the real pilots who view the day to day linework as just a job, I had hit a wall and found I needed a break! I am planning on going to India this summer via British Airways, most likely a 767 from home to Heathrow, but definitely a T7 from Heathrow to Bangalore. I know for certain that by the time of this vacation, the flight experience on that trip will most likely shake me out of this phase, so if is released late summer, I'll be satisfied. But for now, winter is over, and I need to get outside and enjoy the weather, something that is hard for me to do when FSX is on my mind, as basically an daily obsession for the past 5 years. Oh, and regarding that 757, I could really care less if it's ever released. I have given up on that piece of vaporware, and it may be a good thing, as the NGX and the T7 is all I need to keep me busy. I can only focus on one type at a time, and anyhow, since the 757 is so similar to the 767, it's "been there, done that" for me (last time I really flew the wings of the 767 was 2010). The last time I cared about the 757's progress was in the months before the NGX launch in 2011, as I was dreading the prospect that it would be released at the same time as the NGX, and it would have been a major quandary for me to decide which one to enjoy more. But now, I'll just be happy if the T7 and PFPX is released sometime this year. Oh, and if Opus weather offered historical weather downloads and a nice GUI like a certain competitor and accurate winds aloft now, that would probably break me out of this funk right about now! A.J. April 15, 201313 yr This is the second time in as many months I have checked the forums for up dates. same stuff , different day. I too have lost interest in the T7 not only because of the wait but because of FSX also .They are making a great product for outdated software. If I could port it over to P3D then maybe I would spend the money and get back into simming. For me FSX is dead and I am about to removed it from my system. X-plane is in shambles, which we can't use anyway, so P3D is about the only sim out there that would work for me. I know that they use the same code but they are improving all the time and for 50$ for the academic license, while maintaining compatibility with FSX add-ons that I can use( I have quite a lot )it's worth a shot, my last effort at this hobby .. :(
April 15, 201313 yr Well I wouldn't count on P3D for replacing FSX. Too early to say. Also, now that the hardware has caught up to FSX, its performance isnt too bad on my overclocked system.

Maybe but it's not the hardware, it's the software.32 bit system and stuff like that .I would love to get another platform then FSX to run it. From what I been reading I believe P3D is adding more and more support for FSX add-ons ie. REX Essential, ORBX, FSUIPC4,stuff like that. Makes me even more ready to jump. I will wait and see how the T7 works with FSX before I purchase it.
April 15, 201313 yr I fear that I am repeating myself from another thread, I saw this, "We will schedule her for release when (And ONLY when) we feel she is ready for market. However long that takes is how long that takes." I also heard this from Rob in a january Interview, and you know what I actually like it this way, I am pretty sure from that statement and the way it was explained in the interview, that everything that can be checked over, and everything that can be tested to satisfaction will be done over again just to be sure. I (can) wait, and it will be a nice suprise to learn of the release date as and when that happens, then we can all smile and sit back enjoying it. I wont even mind if I learn about it a day or 2 later than all of you guys. ^_^ regards Guss Anthony Kemp. (Guss) -Please  I heard, " There are 10 types Of people in the world, Those who understand Binary and those who don't " I must be the 9th Type.....
