Where is Chock?

Featured Replies

I haven't seen him in a while.  I remember he bought almost every product that came out and would inform/warn us about it, it was really helpful for a lot of us I'm sure.

Thanks,

Jeff

You are absolutely right, he sure was/is a great contributor to our hobby, and I hope he is alright, as it's been nearly nine months since I've seen him around, but he's uploaded a video to his Youtube channel about three months ago, so I guess he's just really busy at the moment...

On a similar note, I wonder where CoolP is.

There was a thread about him in the hangar chat. It seems like he has been active at the CS forum in the last days. But you're right, I miss his contributions to this forum, too.

Can I play too?

Whatever happened to Lou Betti (of Dreamfleet fame)??

The way he abused anyone who dared to use an autopilot....

Thanks,

We haven't seen or heard from Chock since last July; nearly a year. We have tried multiple times to contact him, without response. Sadly, we finally had to remove him as a volunteer here.

I could be 100% wrong and I hope I am as Alan is a fantastic guy (and loves the heck out of his dog).

I recall Alan saying something about the hospital a while back. My memory is not the best but I do recall that. Maybe I am mixing it up with another member.

Hopefully he shows up around here soon.

He disappeared for a few months before his current hiatus as well. It was shorter than this one tho. Hope he's OK. He used to be the best poster on avsim IMO

It could be that he is busily occupied with his software/training company that's involved in real-time training associated with the flight industry as he'd once before alluded to.

Sorry to hear this. Hope Alan is OK and will be back one day.
